Dyfi Forest | The Mach 3 edition | North Wales Epic day 3

Mach 3 is 24 Miles of big mountain climbing with a fast flowy decent found in Dyfi Forest. It's a punishing day on the legs for sure!
This ride turned out to be an XC ride which was a slightly dissapointing as we had hoped for a bit more of a reward for the effort put out.
Although saying that..... If you are looking for a ride which will take you far from civilisation and give you a physical and mental test then this could be for you.
Amazing views from the top and an easy decent this could be taken on by any skill level as long as you have a bit of fitness on your side!

Dyfi forest is home to some amazing singletrack in Wales which we were hoping to find but didn't ..... This is just the tip of the iceberg for whats lerking in Dyfi Forest which means a 2nd trip must be done!!!

Mark Collingwood If you like a good xc pedal then this is spot on! Views are 👌 but it lacks any technical riding 😲

I really liked it there and it has helped me push my skills. You are more skilled that I am so I am sure that you could make the most of it, they even have a redbull run there (and there is a uplift). The only Issue is really the weather, I travel from south east London so it is a long journey to get there if you are not going to be able to ride properly. Last couple of times I went there the wind was trying to blow you off track and we were caught in low clouds, rain and it was super dangerous with no visibility. On days like you had during your mini series it would be absolutely amazing. Thanks again for sharing your adventures, following your progress has inspired me to try to launch a channel later on this year for beginner riders in they 40s.

Riding in a wind storm is no good for anyone! It's tricky because living so far away these bigger trips have to be planned ahead but then it's just a roll of the dice with the weather!! That's amazing news about the channel! good luck with it and happy riding!

Jusdrug I don’t think we got the best of dyfi whilst riding Mach 3 but I think that means another trip is In order😁..... lovely place👌

Mtb Trail Hub yess man gives us a shout . Athertons got a sick like a bike park there but its not open to the public. Big forest 🌳 with loads of potential there 🤪 nice video man
