I’m laughing at everyone talking shit about the bass drum triggers. You all realize that you wouldn’t be able to even heard his kicks well at all without them? You can have the bass live kick sound but when surpassing tempos of 220 and up, the bass drums begin to sound like a blur of notes. Triggers make everything more audible. Also while choosing a good trigger sound is important, it definitely doesn’t make the drummer “cheat” in anyway. It actually makes mistakes more obvious. Hope that helps.
