Dying Fetus is the trio made up of John Gallagher, Sean Beasley and Trey Williams. The band bubbled up from the underground of the extreme death metal/grindcore scene in the 90s, and they have remained there ever since. Their sound is a sonic assault, brimming with brutality and ultra-fast guitar riffs.

Great job by the sound mixing/mastering team for this video. Everything sounds crisp! Kind of amazing considering it looks like the guys are playing through fairly small amps and cabs. Obviously you can mic everything and broadcast it over the PA (which would happen anyway at a show this size), but it's cool to see that even Extreme Metal bands get amazing tones out of such small and (gasp) digital equipment.

J’approche d’un âge certain je dirais. Je me souviens que Slayer devait être une mode passagère. Trop violent. Bah je suis là bcp bcp d’années et de décennies plus tard à me taper le concert sur 2 m d’image avec le son qui va avec. Nom d’un poulet en croute, metal will never die. Et si ARTE donne un coup de pouce comme chaque année c’est top classe.
