@@MaskedGhost Look at the ledge movement anims. They look faster and snappier. The double jump/Bar swinging animations were faster in the trailers too. I guess Techland made this game for motion sickness people specifically. Since they changed the anims for them, and implemented like 3 functions specifically. That's an overkill lmao.
@@TheOneButterwhich makes a huge difference in the parkour flow. It sucks it doesnt have parkour flow its janky and weird. Its like comparing $1 to $100. Yeah theyre the same currency just different amounts
@@Tourettes-syndrome-gaming u do nothing but try get on everyones bad side just stfu atp u love retail u love spending hours of ur life on a garbanzo game congrats we rly dont care its unbelieveable to me how people like u seriously play dl2 retail with 0 mods
i like the current game but yeah, honestly they messed it up so bad, i dont know why they decided to change a bunch of stuff that was already good, like the animations, the hud, map, ...
Most of these would be recreated during development if the people working on them left the company, the lead writer got fired due to fake sexual assault allegations during development which caused 150~ hours of content to be cut
If E3 2019 would be the version that is being sold right now this game wouldnt be dead right now like during the story mission you was able to feel the dying light atmosphere but in this version everything and the hud is alive and in even in dying light 2015 had scarier and dead atmosphere and thats what you was able to feel during 2019 gameplay
Honesltythe community should come together and we should to recreate all of this, I'm considering either hiring people or learning code to try and make this
@@brassy9425 The Modders In Dying Light: Modding Discord Server are finding lots of E3 Animations and they will be made into mods soon, your game can look like E3 Right now if you learn how to use texture mods too.
@@DrMannyWho oooooo I'll look into it thanks^^ I currently do use texture mods and realistic parkour with e3 animation mods, it's more e3 2018 that's hard to get, I'll check the server^^
@@DinaricUbermensch No dude what he said that he wanted e3 2018-2019. I mean look at that sound effect, climbing animation (It looks better than retail climbing) also that sound that plays while parkouring
Obviously, This Was Before Jonah Scott Did Most Of The Voicelines (Not Sure If He Was Even Cast As Aiden When This Was Filmed) And Kyle Cranes Voice Lines Were Used As Placeholders.
@aiIeri should've watched the recent trailers than? Sorry I know it's true that people practically got scammed but honestly the trailers give you a good idea of what your getting
They still have alot to add like flashlight inertia, shadow, better climbing animation, Make Aiden's arms better, remove pilgrim bracelet, e3 2018 outfit, better sound effects for walking and dismemberment
@@DrMannyWho wait but dose that mod change the climbup animation like the one where he climbs a wall not like climbING a wall although it still is a cool mod
I think people don’t realise how much was reused from the first game during the alpha stages. The main reason the game we have now looks so different is because they wanted a fully fleshed out system that didn’t feel as slow as the first game. Most of these animations (especially shimmy and balancing) are definitely reused from the first game before they were revamped before release.
If you look on Nexus and search up "Shimmy" you will find some climbing animations (I don't think they change the starting grab animation but they do look like E3!)
Holy crap, I really wanted to like dying light 2 but this just makes me realize how crap it really is. I don’t know why more people don’t complain about how there’s no real climbing in the second game. The character and map is not oriented for it. You jump so high, and with the paraglide and grappling hook it’s just a glorified platformer. Dying light was supposed to be about climbing, and you rarely do that. You just jump around like a jerk and mantle like this shits Fortnite. This looks so much more intuitive and what the game is supposed to be.
@@sybevfx the only things that i really wish was kept for retail was the camera movement when you ran or walked or did parkour, gives it a better feeling than feeling like you're levitating
People keep saying that the e3 and beta animations are better than retail, and honestly the only animation I think is a step up from release is the walking balance beam animation. I didn't have dl2 on release but I do have reloaded edition, but I have played through dl1 and the following with all the dlc and everything. I do think dying light 2 is a worthy sequel
You're wrong totally wrong. Most of animations seems more better than retail actually infact it has more details such as Aiden prepares himself to hold ledge which doesn't exist in retail. Also climbing is more smoother and looks better and sounds effect is better here it sounds more satisfying.
Im surprised how many people who didn't read the description of the two Alpha videos I uploaded lol, you've read the description as I can tell by the edit.
