I never seen anyone mention this but I have knuckle dusters with massive damage buffs from the tank gear. I get all the best of the tank and get to run a two handed quick weapon that deals massive damage. It's the prefect tank Class.
Can't wait for more mods and Armour sets in the dlc coming in the future maybe not the first one but the next few months I think will be huge im 5 days 6 hours and 45 minutes in on my first plalythrough doing alot of side stuff but just running is so fun in this game they really nailed it I have seen a few bugs but such a great game please every one try this game at least once
I think they have done an amazing job theres a few game breaking bugs that people are suffering from they need to fix but if you haven't got one the games playability is just amazing
I try to get around 85% resistance to infected build. Hopefully I can get it to 100% so I can just destroy at night. Lol my favorite is being fireproof and throwing Molotov on myself
My opinion Tank is the best it shreds i always used 1 handed weapons in di dl an let me tell you oh boy was i missing out it fucking shreds takes a bit to get used to slow swings but i have mastered it an it is so satisfying.
just one point... you said that the power shot ability is like the power attack for mele... they are actually in no way shape or form related... power shot is a passive ability applied to ALL ranged shot... no hate.. just trying to help great video. thank you
I may combine brawler, ranged, and tank. Or perhaps just do brawler and tank going for 3 for both types. still trying to decide but I primarily use 1-2 handed weapons while using my bow for stealth
Im on my 2nd NG+ and rarity does not matter. I run a parkour stamina cost build, all lv9 but a mixture of blue,purple and gold. For medic i look for parkour stamina cost and for brawler I look for melee stamina cost. i virtually use no stamina when using the correct build for fighting versus parkour.
So... does anyone else change their gear, and it literally doesn't change anything? I have a 1H weapon doing 189 damage while wearing all Tank gear.. then I switch to all Brawler gear, and the damage number stays exactly the same.
It’ll stay the same so just add up the percentages and add em all together and do the math to find out the damage output, I do it ( my nails [140 dmg] bow does around 230 with ranger gear some are lvl 9 artifact)
@Nicolas Caron I know that but the fling mod on 2 handed weapons is sweet and with 2 of them is procs very often sending everything that I wallop flying

I've not played in a few months but that was a nice combo before for damage reduction and 2 handers if i remember correct or mixing it with a bit of medic worked well as well
Tank would be the best for endgame if 2h (not long) weapons actually dropped at max level as they can cleave through multiple enemies with one swing. Since those don't exist, brawler is the obvious best choice. Ranger could also be good if you somehow have an absurd amount of ammo to use with the peacekeeper crossbow
@@FearLegion-co8gg I know long weapons count as 2h weapons, but there is a separate class of weapons that are literally called "2h ___." For example there are long axes and then there are 2h axes. Self-categorized 2h weapons are slower than long weapons and use more stamina but can much more easily hit multiple targets. Long axes can hit multiple targets with regular swings, but you need precise angles to do it. As far as I can tell, there are no true 2h artifact weapons at level 9 that aren't long weapons. You can try looking around for true 2h weapons in traders or as world drops at

Don't let me confuse you though, the damage boost stat for 2h weapons from tank armour works with Long Weapons, it's just that Long Weapons aren't great because they are slower and do the same amount of damage as 1h weapons/have no benefit to using them. Either way, the Timeout legendary 1h machete Twitch drop currently has the highest base melee damage in the game, and you can put mods on it, up to like 550 damage with 3 maxed out mods.
I extremely dislike random perks on gear, it's the reason I hate destiny. The only thing keeping you from your perfect build is a random stat. Exceedingly irksome, it harshes my mellow, my steeze, my vibe, my mood, my lord I'd rather spec into smithing or a crafting skill than this. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!!
You mentioned that stats showing "red %" in stamina cost is better. That can't be correct. The stat is negative, which mean the larger the % the larger the reduction in stamina cost, or?
I realised i mispoke as it was meant to mean the difference is the higher - value was the best if you look at that section i wrote an overlay text saying you should still look for the green as that would mean a better value only it would be a negative rather than positive
What i can't figure out is what actually is boosted by the Medic's Parkour Damage increase. Obviously the kicks, but does the stomp, smash, slam, or sneak attacks scale with it?
I only use tank gear to be more durable (not for two-handed weapons). Instead the brawler I use to have more damage with one-handed weapons (also for the cost of vigor with melee weapons. Instead the Renegade boss Mask to be ultra resistant.
Anyone looking for a ranger play style should stay away from the pk crossbow don’t waist time and resources the crossbow is really over rated and the parkour from survivor will be more helpful as a ranger… the crossbow doesn’t benefit from headshot and and sucks from far I would only recommend the crossbow for the medic as compliment to the parkour attacks
@@nicolascaron3038 yeah youre right on aerial shot, just tested it. I was wrong, as far as i can tell, the parkour skills arent working on the PK crossbow. However, my rank 6 Nails does 140 damage, my PK crossbow does 630 and is rapid fire *im rank 8*
