Man, I hate glitched collectibles (connected to trophies/achievements) and SUPER GRINDY trophies/achievements but it's such a relief when they finally unlock. So proud to see that you managed to get the platinum for this game. Yet another great video, dude!
I literally got this platinum yesterday, weird timing, it took alot longer than expected but at no point was i exausted, for that 960km trophy i just left a rubber band on my controller when i went to the gym and when i was asleep so it wasnt that bad, took 100 hours total according to my save file
I mean I wouldnt have been exhausted had I just done the rubber band thing, but it didnt feel right tbh, I like to show people its possible without and hopefully this will encourage everyone who watches to just do the rubber band technique and save themselves the torture lol You also have to remember I'm making videos that hopefully entertain, and people dont want to watch every possible "easy way" or "glitch" to get a trophy ya know
I got this achievement by accident 💀 I remember going through all the trophies a while ago an saw the 960km achievement an was like hm that seems hard to do, months later I got the notification that I completed it an was like damn wtf I been playin this game way to much😂
Congratz on making it through that. I am not sure whether you've ever had any interest in the Final Fantasy games but if you do/did there is a great package on PSN that includes Final Fantasy 1 up untill 6, it is the Pixel Remaster bundle and the platinums are easy (each game has it's own platinum) and it is honestly a great way to either experience these games for the first time or to relive childhood memories.
Oh man this brings back bad vibes!🤣I was lucky, there was only one story related trophy that didn't pop. For me that last collectible on the crate was useless too, and had to go to the fisheye to get it. Baffled that 1,5yrs later that still isn't fixed! The ultramarathon was indeed a nightmare and completely out of context with the game. Like you said 500km would have still been teadius AF, but makes more sense. That's the only trophy I have ever rubberbanded. I was just watching movies/TV shows/cleaning my apartment and stuff like that, while my controller was doing the work🤣 trophies like that really ruin the plat experience tho. Its slowly but surely getting better, wont be better than the first in some aspects but its getting there. Also love the story and lore, the fact there are no gunsmiths anymore makes sense since NO ONE can make a gun and the government was dumb enough to take everyones guns. Its quite cool because in many zombie games you go guns blazing but this makes you get creative.
I haven't platinumed this game but I always have a lot of fun playing it, the story while tropey and a bit generic at times was still good in my opinion with a few emotional beats that actually did hit home with me. Can't speak a lot as too the trophy but I'm about 68% towards completetion and most of those were story quests, side quests and combat and parkour related tropies
I got this platinum a while ago. The collectibles were so annoying, but I had to rubber band my controller for about 30 hours for the ultramarathon trophy. What a waste of time. Great video, keep up the hard work
Oh boy, I am not looking forward to platinuming this as much as I used to. I personally think I'll enjoy the gameplay up until I need to grind the Ultramarathon trophy out. But hey, if I was able to grind my way towards getting the Cat Call trophy in Injustice 2, I should be able to grind my way to this. Again, tremendous effort on these plat videos.
I remember going for this game when it first came out. Absolutely loved it and the story and was on pace to be with some of the first people in the world to get the platinum until I had a story trophy glitch out. Never got the trophy for defending the fish bowl which kept me from getting the platinum. So many bugs were in this game that kept it from being one of the best games of the year.
agreed.. literally makes no sense, and tbh most "ultra marathons" like the name suggests are either 50km, 10km or 161km, I have never seen a 960km ultra marathon.. just silly
You're a madman for doing the Ultramarathon trophy legit. Rubberbanding your controller to run in circles in a safe zone is the preferred AFK method for doing this. Still takes forever but at least you don't actually have to do anything and you can just leave the game running on its own. I left it running AFK when I went to work and it took the most of 2 days to finally get the ridiculous distance requirement. What a mindlessly dumb trophy in an otherwise pretty fun game with a decent trophy list.
I remember having to play the game 3 times because a certain side mission would NOT spawn and I also had a problem with finding one last collectible because it just didn’t spawn 😭
Another great video and also I think you should get a wheel or get the app for and put all of the games you what to platinum’s or suggestions on the wheel and spin and do that platinum’s
I recommend stranded deep if you don't got a fear of the open seas, and fighting big sea creatures. Some bugged/glitched trophies. But still obtainable through sheer luck like mafia 3. (But not start over glitch/bug). Even had a co-op glitch that unlocked all trophies instantly but that thankfully got patched so no more easy Platinum. Very fun game gave it 7/10. 1 playthrough if you study before going in or 2 if you use a certain item.
its so irritating when story trophies dont work at all, I'm missing loads of story trophies in jedi survivor because of that including the one for finishing the game which is so annoying
Funny thing, same thing happened to me with lawans death list. But thank God for co-op it let's you pick up collectables in other players sessions. Also it's so weird how there's two spawns for the collectable but one of the spawns is bugged.
Amazing video dude! I still need to platinum this game (I want to die) did the same thing as you. Played it on release date, finshed the story and didn't play it after because it was super buggy (played it on the PS4). I still gotta play NG+ because I missed some missable Trophies which is really annoying so that sucks, then I gotta do the 960km trophy, FML! That's gonna be one of the worst Trophies I'm ever gonna earn for sure
I have a game suggestion for you, I did it for my 75th platinum, the first ever Prototype I went through an ordeal with that. It is rough. But I believe that you'll be able to do it.
I wanted to plat this when it came out, sadly alot of the trophies were bugged and I didn’t get alot of the so that really burned me out. Never really started it again to get the all again😂
for anyone that wants to do the Ultramarathon trophy in future: run in a circle in the VNC tower lift while it's going up and down, the game counts horizontal & vertical movement, it's still rough, but not AS rough.
They just added an option to make parkour work with physics 2 weeks before you played. I don’t know why you would play without it as it makes you go faster.
I have been going for this game for the past few weeks and have really been enjoying the gameplay. Story was a bit shit, but it happens. I think you should do the DLC for this one to make sure you get that full 100%! Also, for anyone playing on PC, this game sucks absolute shite and doesn't understand how to correctly allocate VRAM and my FPS is stuck at 60 regardless of the graphics settings even with a 7900 XTX so you may need to download a programme to restart your drivers after you are finished playing the game. Anyway, keep it up and looking forwards to the next game

@itsstuddy ya I absolutely loved the first game and there are definitely aspects that dl1 does better but dl2 in my opinion is just so much more fun. I love even just running around and parkouring around zombies. Respect though for suffering through the platinum trophy lmao
AJ should take it.. Whyte is very open to simple combinations ending with the uppercut as we’ve seen before. But depends where AJ is mentally as we know Whyte is coming to brawl and take his head off. But my prediction is AJ wins by KO in round 7-9
back when this game came out i had to join randoms online to get the collectibles i missed and somehow the game glitched and merged their world into my save and i was stuck there, losing a ton of progress
I hate games that have trophies that can’t be obtained organically, thankfully not played loads like that but you know like this ultramarathon one where even after doing all the games content you will still need hours and hours of just (literal) running around

I gave up on this game a few months after it came out. I managed to get a lot of trophies but it was so bugged, and don't get me started on the collectibles.
I haven't platinumed this on PlayStation yet, but I did 100% on Xbox. I'm not looking forward to the travel trophy...but congratulations on Platinum. :)
You should definitely try Celeste or Hollow Knight. They’re some pretty hard games to platinum but at the end you’ll want to replay them😭 such good games I wish I could play and platinum for the first time
I did think about it.. but I thought people would enjoy the suffering more.. and also I heard reports that the game will randomly pause if you do the running in circles band thing.. and I thought it would be my luck, I'd band it up leave to go to the gym come back and the game would of pauses after 2 minutes lol
wow😂 thats insane.. yet I had to do 2 full playthrough, 1 of which I 100%'d every activity in the game, then still had to run for another 20 hours.. you lucky guy!
