Every person that legitimately paid for bloody ties should be given DL points now that it’s free.

2 years later and I still have the game installed on my PC. Techland deserves credit for continuing to update instead of moving on like other game developers. Good job guys!

At first, when I bought the game when it came out, I was a little sad and upset because It wasnt what I spected to be or It wasnt how Techland had show it on trailers, but I still played it until this day. Today I just cant beleave how the game improved since that and Techland is really hearing the community and making thing right and improving, im really happy and the thing is just getting better by the time! Thank you techland! I revisited the first game and have been having a blast. I want to return to dying light 2, but I have to go through another 40 hours of gameplay since I accidentally nuked the city in the main story and I can’t continue it without the guilt of knowing everyone died. Especially with such better and beautiful alternatives as endings, I was a fool

Love how the devs keeps updating their games, and improving it, meanwhile so few does these updates, just leaving their games to rust and die. Happy I supported this game at the launch, one of my fav games to return to from time to time

Since the release, I have been writing about the Horseshoe Water Tower error. It still does not appear in the menu for open structures, and if you open all of the objects in the game, only 6 appear, not all 7. It also does not appear on the map when it's open and assigned to a faction. However, the mistake stubbornly refuses to be corrected.

I'm currently on my re-run of Dying Light 1 and loving it all over again. Excited to restart Dying Light 2's story and finally catch up on all the side missions.

your games will never get old and will be played for generations and will always be in my memories your games have created a part of me which i cant erase they are that good

playing this game since feb 2022 and watching it get better has been an experience by itself

One of the only bigger developers who still makes games FOR their players

And the ones who bought the deluxe edition what will get since everyone is going to have the bloody tides for free when they buy it?

The zombies look so much better. I am loving this game. One last thing though the zombies need to stumble off object instead of landing on there feet.

Congrats, i just started on the 1st game last night with friend and play in co-op. We got so much content for it, so we are going to have our hand full with it. After that we probely going on with DL2.

Just finished my second playtrought and had a lot of fun, it felt like a new game from the one we got on launch, congrats on the dev team

Is hardcoded keybinds and buggy weapon throw fixed yet on PC kb/mouse? had to disable throw in files cuz weapons kept getting glitched and lost.

One thing they should add is to be able to repair your wepon without going to a craft master kinda like the first one depending on the rarity of the wepon the higher the wepon tier the lower the repairs

So... Since the Bloody Ties DLC if free, does that mean we might see new community events coming to the arena? I mean, the arena themed events are the perfect delivery method for community events. Make up a new arena with the event theme and make events last a little longer maybe? Could also make the events permanent too. That way, no work is waisted and future players can still rank up the past events

Please fix the delta quest bug want to complete the quest but can’t with this bug going on.

Can’t do any of the new missions because of a glitch that thinks I’m still in the mission when I’ve finished it “biggest update yet” but still can’t fix simple bugs that have been in the game since release

The 3 month period when DL2 released was the best of my life i want to keep going back to that 3 months and relive it again and again

In a Q/A back in june 2023 Tymon said crossplay will hopefully come before dlc2, is that still the plan?

I know we all wanted this much content when it first released, but lets just appreciate the fact that Techland didnt quit the game and has continued to make it better ever since release and starting in 2023. Now in 2024 we already have Jai, a whole new mission with him, his bounties, and lots of guns! Thank you Techland.

I can't get on to the community map for the challenge it keeps saying internal error (200995). Does anyone know a fix for this?

Soo I own bloody ties and have played since launch, do I have to buy reloaded even though I don't need part of it? Beat this game soooooo many times. Still love it but would be nice to not have to.

It is amazing for us fans to see that the developers truly care, makes sure the fans Are heard and tries to make the best games ever while not just doing what they think might make the most money.

Despite the shortcomings, the criticisms and every other decision that pissed off the fans, it cannot be denied that the sheer amount of support these guys have given DL1 and 2 especially the mod tools and listening to the fans and their community, is absolutely insane, simply out of this world. If all the devs in this dying industry would offer such support for all their games the whole landscape would look brighter. Congratulations to the devs and to the whole company. Simply incredible. You have my respect. PS: I don't like or play zombie games, never did but Dying Light caught my attention and didn't disappoint. The only zombie games I played. Well done.

Joined a friend to help them. Went back into my own game and its started my story from the very begining. This is the 4th time since release i have had this shit. I hope you guys continue with the support and updates, i want to love the game like i did the first but it just doesnt hit thst spot at all for me.

Congrats on all who worked and keep working on the game. Here's to an even more exciting year! Looking ahead a couple things I'd like seeing: - A rework/overhaul of the gore system that pays more tribute to the original DL. Blood particles are cool and all but they add too much noise to the screen and nearly always look differently lit than the rest of the environment. The first game's gore behaved more dynamically and looked more stylized and fuller. Less noise and more artistic flair could elevate the gore to more satisfying levels. I can understand some people could prefer the DL2 one so giving us a toggle too would be appreciated. - More events and new cosmetics that try to stick to the world and aesthetic of Dying Light itself rather than other media, real-life holidays and/or pop-culture. Collabs and crossovers are great now and then, but there's a point where you have to stop bloating your game with them and try to be stricter about fleshing out YOUR world. I guess I want far less derivation and more original content from now on. - Expansion to random open-world encounters and maybe even adding some of those to interior maps. You can never have enough of those!

dawg, i literally bought the deluxe upgrade a month ago to get bloody ties. You can't see it, but i'm squinting at you as i write this. At least there are some other goodies in there, not particularly good ones but. Eh.

Will there be any news about 2DLC or wait for a very long time.

You should add more weapon animation to increase variety like adding unique animation with the long stick/sword. warden sword kensei odachi and barbarian, make the animation have more fluidity as aiden is swinging a weighted blade with skill but don't just copy the katatna animation and give it a thrust animation for the charge attack like the polearms. Side note I kinda already miss Aiden occasionally using 2 hands to swing a blunt one-handed weapon only because it made his technique interesting. The work you guys put in is amazing and faithful to the community

I came back after 1 year away and my save is corrupted. Any idea what i can do to fix it? I'm on ps5, tried downloading a earlier save but still didn't work.

Guns are lovely tho i would suggest a possibility to aim better cus on controler it is left stick but maybe there should be an option to pick like a gun holster and be able to aim with L2 -idk what button on xbox-just a suggestion:) P.s or right stick either way it is very tricky to aim

Please add back the older zombie models with the new ones. Way too many of the newer models make it look like the infection just happened recently and not decades ago like it did. Even the zombies that were added in other patches are simply gone. I haven't see the PK, renegade, or super skinny ones at all.

One thing you can definitely say about this team is that they love their product.....

You need to scrap the run boy run community map bounty for the anniversary rewards as I can’t get the scorpio at all… on xbox as it says internal error when i try to subscribe and complete it, so now that 1 bounty has stopped me from getting the rewards its so annoying! You guys to fix this ASAP!

Thank you Techland for free DLC and new missions. I'm amazed by the way you were improving your game and adding new content. For now the most visible changes are changed lightning and infected models and it makes your game look much better.

Thank you for this wonderful update, you are the best! If in the future you correct the damage of firearms to infected (Volatile holds bullets and assault rifles and pistols in the head) as well as the inability to put cartridges in a cache, then this will be noticed. The weapon models are just perfect, they are beautiful and powerful! And new interior models and infected ones are something! You are the best! Thank you for this update! Thank you for putting your heart into this project!

Mission progression bug still a problem in the latest 2024 update is crazy. Please fix this.

After I complete the mission on the mission board for the lost armory my game won’t let me do anything even die and keeps telling me I’m leaving the mission but I already beat it lol 😢all I can do is restart I’ve done this 5times no luck same result

Great update. Thats only if there wasnt a game breaking bug. After completing survivor missions. The mission doesnt actually end and i get insta killed when i leave the last mission zone before it SHOULD have ended. I reloaded the game. And now. All the graphics are bugging out. (Xbox)
