Well technically he's a volatile, it says in the subtitles at the end I can see why you thought he was a night Hunter but nope I guess TechLand did that purposely as they were wrapping up the game

+Tears Galaxy Dude, the Night Hunter is a evolved descendant from the volatiles, so the scream may be from any of them. He defends volatile nests in Be the zombie cause it is his species.

@@dall_scortez3887 I mean. Kyle was a special case of infection. Just like Mother. He drunk the vial. Gave him God knows what that allows him to have conciousness during the day. But his instincts take over in the night. Because Kyle is a volatile, these types are easily mutatable. And the reason I think hes the night hunter is because of his natural talent of parkour. In the first game, he said he hadnt experienced parkour but he was good at it (speaking canonically). So it could be possible that the virus took that trait of his and morphed him into what he was before.

But anyways, since we're here, I will go and state that my previous comment was pure utter speculation, I just forgot to make that clear. I just thought the hunter and the volatiles were related on a genetic level, because both are the only zombies who (1) only come at night, (2) have UV light as weakness and (3) the hunter's main goal is to defend volatile nests (like a mother protecting its young). Again, pure utter speculation. Happy now?

Crane mutated into the night hunter fyi. And to fight something thats even smarter than you at surviving and better at killing is just impossible. Crane uses his knowledge of his life to fight like he did before he turned. Thats why he uses grapples to move to buildings and ambushes people. The new GRE operative needs to be DOOM Guy or some shit in order to even injure Kyle.

As you surely noticed with DL2 you have a complete new character BUT ... imagine (it is possible) that you see Kyle Crane again as a "Nighthunter" in DL2! ... in some kind of "Sidequest" Boss or secret boss! In fact: DL2 plays 15 Years after Harran! ...So it IS possible!

You and many "others" simply don't see the hope. Change is inevitable. Change is vital. He is evolved and could learn to have better control over his new given natural directives. When one note is off it can destroy the whole song. Death (silence. An end.) is a note that lets us notice the special things in life and without it there's just noise. Humans needed something to keep their species ALIVE and healthy. Most "people" these days can't handle the task of what all must be done in life, so having new drives that help you blackout to the "bad" parts would help some sheep-people make it by giving them sunglasses with their wolf clothing. I'd much rather see the truth(I have) and embrace evolution (Evolution is too restricted/immobilized these days all cause we cater to constantly helping the cance(R)-0-u-SLY weak ). Much better to really know, accept, control and evolve yourself while on a more realistic adventure through life(natural survival), like he (main character) may by going further than "the mother" prototype wished. I'd drink and answer the call for the unknown.

Oh cmon it is a great dlc, the story is a massive improvement to the base game story
