I love to see people getting mad at someone for being a victim of abuse. Looking at it it seems so simple its true, but when your the one experiencing it feels like the easiest and least painful solution is to stay or go back to your abuser. There are layers of manipulation, guilt, shame and a false sense of hope that are in play. Its like you are in your own little world. You can't see past it and everything will be okay if you just play by the rules, otherwise you'll be punished. Im not saying she didn't make mistakes, and isn't flawed, but the WORST place to be when trying to figure who you are and how to improve yourself is in an abusive, manipulating relationship. And she's relatively quite young and deserves empathy. People are still people, people.
