Any auburn, golden blonde, soft brown, & sizzling copper HiColors mixed with 40 developer ; if you wanted to try to get that color you wanted again. I have that now. The golden blonde is the key ingredient to bring out the colors so you can use a lil over 1/4th to half of that tube in the mix

You also don’t have to use the entire tubes for the other colors. Half of each tube will do fine. So you can save the other half for your next touch up

I love the final results. Next time, do not mix all of the products when you do your strand test. The 30 developer stops working after 30 minutes so you didn’t get the full effect of the lift.

It smelled like that because both colors are permanent and contain ammonium hydroxide and are specifically formulated to be used by themselves with 30 vol developer. It's not semi permanent color where you can use different shades in one formula. Hair coloring is a science. Be careful yall. 🫡

Hey great video! Need to ask something did you end up bleaching your hair first before dying? My natural hair colour is black as well but it got dyed to brown professionally but the roots are growing back which is black and I don’t like it. So I want to fix it and dye it but I don’t know if I should bleach it first or if it would be alright with the dye? X

Hey💗, so I didn’t bleach my hair at all, never have. My hair was also dyed brown but with a box dye and grown out to the ends during this video. I was in the same situation as you so I used the products in this video to achieve the chocolate brown color in the end. No bleach, color corrector, etc.

I’m shocked that your hair turned out lighter because usually bleach is needed. Idk if you said this but is your hair virgin hair or does it have permanent or semi permanent hair color? My hair is black and I always thought I would need to bleach my hair!

I did have a box dye on my ends from years ago but I think my natural hair being dark brown and not black helped pick up the color. Also the level of developer you use helps as well
