I'm actually REALLY surprised at how warm the comments section is for Larry here. Might be because I''m so used to seeing people giving every reason to trash on Larry/justifying how he shouldn't win in any situation, but seeing so many people think Larry should've gotten that is such a breath of fresh air. More so given the fact that this is a European battle, not an exhibition or American one.
I wonder when it will be a breath of fresh air to see the fan base admit that the twins lose a battle? While I agree larry should've won 2-1 let's not act like the fan base is objective. It be straight dick riding 99% of the time.

Usually the comments would be filled with people shutting down every person who thought Larry should've won, to the point where it gets kinda annoying even if I agree with them
If I'm honest, I actually do think Dykens got at least the first two rounds. The last one is more debatable cuz Larry truly killed that one, but Dykens came back pretty strong too. At their level, imo it really feels more like a personal preference on who you think won; this is mainly because these two focus on such different aspects of dancing. Me being heavily influenced by flow based dancers these days (especially Chris Martin even though he's more of a choreographer than a freestyler), I preferred the way Dykens danced most of the time.
@@MrJubejube87 Sorry, I base it off of originality, skill level, and beat hitting. Dykens first round was garbage. Not even slightly impressive. There's a reason Les Twins are pushing the boundaries of hip hop. That wavy "controlled" bullshit is boring AF to watch, and easy as hell to keep doing as a dancer. Dykens had lots of friends hyping up some easy moves. Congrats.
for me the Larry won the second and third round was very mercido he have won. dykens is a great dancer promising, danced very well the round (the first mainly) but still keep finding that the Larry won.

One thing i don't understand is why when somebody say les twins win automatically you called them fanboy ???? When somebody is good even if you don't like him you have to recognize that. In this battle ;it's the third round who has determined who was the winner and Larry was the best in this round. That's why many people said that he's the true winner.

this wasn’t the first battle the judges voted for larry to lose for no reason, the one with t gave the judges away and their plan because he clearly won that battle as well as this one, it just unfair judges all round
Ok, I wanna be 100 percent honest. Never have been Twins’ fan and never will be. But this case was one of the times when I really enjoyed Larry’s performance and people being hyped about him isn’t just fanboying this time, it was deserved. Hell, in my opinion he deserved to win this one

Also, not one to pull in the judges usually, but do note that Icee actually gave all 3 rounds to Larry. And he's the only one to do so too. Dykens killed it but I gave all 3 rounds to Larry tbh.. Dykens crew definitely came with that energy but Larry was clean and moves were Fuego! Dykens did do the same move 4 times in one round. Dope battle I commend all these dancers for withstanding so many round!

5:13 judge with the blue outfit's reaction says it all IMHO. It is dancing, it is fluid, there is a groove I see and feel in Dykens that I cannot grasp in Larry. Both awesome dancers but I like the waving I get with Dykens
I’ve realized recently that every wherever the Twins go... It doesn’t even matter how good they dance anymore. The judges will always favor the crowds. They don’t even judge anymore!
I’ve watched them and followed their careers for more that 5+ years so when they dance I’m always amazed but lord that last round had me drop my jaw like I was watching Larry dance for the first time ever. When ‘Amsterdam bang’ came on, Larry was like ‘DAS MA SONG IM ABOUT TO DESTROY EVERYTHING.’

finally i see larry ACTUALLY freestyling. No more pre choreographed moves that were so stiff i love seeing them just feeling it and flow. He used to be my fav freestyler then ofcourse i found out laurent was a genius,but still larry used to be untoucheable in the battle scene,he's slowly getting back into it i'm excited as hell for these next future battles!!
HIs Crowd made it for Dykens because they scream lauder in the first round he is making 5 times the same larry say´s it and at the beginning of the second one his off the beat. But Dykens is really good and the next genaration is very strong (Rubix , evion ; gio, Gavin, Yoris, Cartoon , Lil Blade, Mushroom and a more....)
Ok the other guy was good but Larry won the last round. To be honest as much as I love Les Twins they are spreading themselves then, people are starting to look away especially now that they're putting their love life in the spotlight. Yes they are human and have to live but sadly that fantasy is part of the game. With that being said Larry should have won. Keep doing your thing proud of you

Nahh.. I'm huge Les Twins fan. And as much as I agree I disagree. Larry has danced to that song so many times. He literally just "danced" to it. He didn't put in much effort into that song like he does for show cases or when he's just freestyle by himself and against no one... Larry has at least danced to that song more than 4 times so I didn't expect much from Larry to do as much with the song that he hasn't done already. But Dyknes most definitely didn't do the song any justice at all either just pretty much jogging in place and spinning until he found a certain part of the song he wanted to hit. And when he did hit it, it was dope... But wasn't all that to get him that win because Larry had more screams than that one little thing that he did... It should've been a draw and they should have made them battle again
@@Key.Fantasy Dyknes did not win that whole battle... nor did he did it easily either 😂😂😂 It seems like Dyknes tried to give it all at 100% on the very first round just to lock in one lousy point. And that's great and all but that was a bad move. Larry literally killed him second round. And 3rd round Dyknes and Larry both fell off... Dyknes just seem to have jogged and skipped in places and Larry done danced to the song so many times it was clear that he knew he didn't know what to do with that beat anymore. They should've gave both a point and made them dance again to something else.
Larry should of won that last round HANDS DOWN. Yes I'm a fan, but I'm fair, in other battles I feel the les twins would of lost but this one Larry took it. Dykens is a great dancer, I love his control and moves, but that last round he didn't do as much as Larry, just hype. He couldn't even hear the rest of the beats because of the over hype crowd. Sadly, The Les Twins are already use to this unfair judgement, as you can see at the end, Laurent went straight to Dyken and hug him.

Tbh I can tell why Larry lost. Dykens came into this as the underdog and he has some really good hypemen. No hate to Dykens, but the energy that came from his rounds weren’t made by him. Round 3 showed me that, at least. That energy is what squeezed him by though. Either way, I’m happy to see Larry in a battle and I’m happy he went against a dancer of really good caliber. Kind of a reality check for both fans and naysayers
Not really totally true...Larry was an underdog since he didn't battle in a long time..Dyknes has been one of the most active and successful dancers in the freestyle battle scene and one of the best dancers currently in the world
Khabib Tiramisu Nurmagomedov there is no way a million dollar, juste debout champion, revolucion dance show judge, most popular dancer can come into a battle as an underdog. If he wasn’t in the freestyle scene initially, I may have agreed, but most performances even those with choreo, has freestyle in it from him. Only thing he isn’t sharp with is probably timing but that’s it.
I honestly thought Larry was going to win because I felt like he did more but I understand why the other guy won, I think. Everyone hears music differently and respond differently so please don't bash anyone for the outcome. I don't feel any bias between the judges. They were just calling it how they saw it. I feel like the crowd played a part too but that's how it goes sometimes. That's the great thing about music and dance but that's just my opinion
It is a pity that all the videos in which he loses les twins, 99% of his fans do not accept that he loses his dancer ... there are very few fans of les twins who watch the battle for what they show in the round without their fanaticism in between ... give someone else's shame

I do feel like Larry's last round was not really good. It was way under my expectations for that song. But even so, Dykens last round was literally just him stepping and rolling around with no connection with the music. Larry should have won that.
For me both did good but for me dykens won. Hyping the public is nice okok cool but do we have to talk about be clean and stuff like that also caching the music it’s harder then hyping up people Larry is a nice beat killing but I prefer dykens, for me he is more completate! Ya know what, even though Larry did Larry here... I feel like Dykens rode the crowd energy so much better in the final round. Like you could feel the vibe the crowd wanted after Larry hit his knee drop. Instead of riding that wave, he went back into technician-Larry mode. Compare that to the bounce/energy that Dykens had when he finished his round. Funny thing is, 98% of the time I'm always the guy in the comments saying Les Twins got robbed. I really think Dykens won this though. It is what it is. 🤷♂️😂
guys the dude had the crowd hype! How often do you even see a crowd this hype in opposition to Les Twins? He had a ton of energy and knew how to utilize it. Basically when you compare his/this performance to others when vsing one or both of the Les Twins, this performance is top 5 best performances "VS" Les Twins and for that He deserves the W. It's an honor rarely attained, having a W against Les Twins is Resume worthy.
Larry has been out of the battle game so long I thought he forgot how to freestyle. Pleasantly surprised he still has it in him to bust some real moves. At the end of the day, I trust the Icee (one of the best freestylers in the world), and Icee gave wins to Larry. Still, a good battle. However, the rounds should be longer. They are too short.
How he forget to freestyle when he is a freestyle dancer and freestyle daily it's not about the moves he is still a monster Larry won a competition of a beat box dance battle in dance camp against Malcom it was huge really taught 2016 with regi he should ve won in the final at least for me i feel like every year they choose one battle they r not the same like before they will lose but still Larry is a legend my friend for my self at least like icee is the legend of grooves and flow that Guy is a genius he gave Larry the three rounds but even if he didn't give him i have eyes and i ve seen Larry won that last round before i saw icee decision
Historically, he has sacrificed freestyle for canned power moves and repetition, and it makes their battles weaker. Larry and Laurent would be battle gods, just the best, if they only did battles every year instead of workshops. No workshops, no half-assed performances, etc - if they just concentrated on fusion concept, juste debout, and all the other big competitions, every year they would win almost all their battles. That's how talented they are. But they sacrifice it to live the high life imo, and they gimp their dance.

I still like them when they battle, just feel like I've seen them be a million times better when they're with fans and freestyle just to freestyle. No competition
Dykens fundamentally got them rhythm, Grooves, Flow and Musicality on point Which I believe Larry did Acknowledge and agreed on dykens win. Cause only true dancers that knows them basics will know what is up when the other one manage to deliver it right. I respect Larry but Dykens took this one. 😊
