So much respect these players. I just can't help but to notice that where they decide to turn after hitting a ball seems to be the biggest factor if they can get to the return or not. If you sort of guess wrong and face the wrong direction, it's very hard to turn around and chase the ball. I wonder if in the future of wheelchair tennis might they ponder the use of electric wheelchairs? I realize part of the athleticism is them having to use their own arms to spin the wheels but it just seems too limiting. What if they used electric wheelchairs that can get them to more balls and return play? Then the points can be decided more on hitting winners than the inability to chase the ball down.

He is a CHEAT get out of the Quadriplegic division and go play in the open division we’re he belongs. Then to make him Australian of the year is an absolute joke, he’s nothing but a cheat and liar.

Why does Alcott play quad instead of wheelchair? Dude casually transferring racquet between hands at the end of the match meanwhile Schroder has to have his racquet duct taped to his hand.

What an absolute “CHEAT” Alcott is he was born a Paraplegic but couldn’t beat anyone in the open division so then he pretends to hurt his hand so he qualifies for the Quadriplegic division. This is disgusting that he is allowed to play against players that are genuine Quadriplegics that have very limited hand and arm movements and his upper body is perfect.
