I was sitting at Fagers Island and the song Renegade was playing. It certainly caught my ear. I asked the bartender who was the music. They identified it thru Spotify. I bought the CD the following week and have been impressed since
I could click the “like” button a thousand times and it still wouldn’t be an accurate representation of how much I love this song and Dylan’s music as a whole.
I'll be seeing him tonight in Knoxville and I only just discovered him on Monday. Righteous timing. $10 ticket in a small venue and I can sense something special in him. I'll be chewin my nails til 8 today.
Yeah, but did he play with a full set of amplified guitars and shit? I found him, then saw him in KC, and the live experience was totally overblown, too loud, and you lost all of the soulfulness of his recorded songs. Like Jekyl and Hyde.
Your music reminds me of an earlier time, back when I use to listen to some of the best men that ever played, Bread, Cat Stevens and Kenny Loggings.... to name a few. Your music is phenomenal it puts you in a place and leaves you there to wonder. It's amazing, it has a sound all if its own. So glad I found all of your music, I'm hoping that I can find you in concert.....
impressive! unique and so, so musical---wonderful principal---love the string orchestration and play. i didn't call this up, it just began playing, so i let it. sure glad it turned up. polished talent.
SO much of a hypnotic melody. What a great musician! The strings are so beautiful and just make it all fit together. I just love Dylan's music!! So fortunate to have found him He's one of the most talented musicians ever!! Much love and Blessings for a prosperous future, Dylan!
very nice. good instrumentals, wonderful clear voice, good diction w/ his own style. i would go to hear him perform, and i would buy his cd's. good, good music. impressive and i will be watching for more of him. best of luck! if one notices, there is no backup singer(s), but there is really no need to orchestrate additional harmony or sound---another impressive musical feat accomplished.
I fell in love with Dylan’s music in 2016 and saw him in concert when he toured for Cautionary Tale, which received significant press, and for which he made extensive appearances and participated in many interviews. I met him, and he was incredibly humble. Then he almost disappeared. He had a baby with a Norwegian woman and I was happy for him, but I was saddened that he had not continued to release much new material. I stumbled across this tonight and cannot stop playing it. This is the sound of his incredible magic. Otherworldly. 🙏🏻
No, he's the son of another Shreveport/Muscle Shoals musician named James Leblanc. Check him out, too. *Matt, James and Dylan are all also not related to 70s musician Lenny Leblanc (search for "Leblanc and Carr.")
