Come join me working in my Dylusions Dyalog, I have created a special ‘Dylusions Day by Day’ for the month of April 2020. The videos will be uploaded daily & will feature mostly Dylusions products with a couple of others thrown into the mix!
In this video I have done a black and white and coloured page including lots of doodling, stencilling and cutting!

I’ve been in 2 live classes with Dylan at Scrappy Chic, MI. and she is a fabulous teacher. She fills every minute with learning and although I love the day-by-day videos, live and in person can’t be replicated except with your butt in a seat! ❤️💙💚

Thank you Dyan for bringing up the subject of Ali Express. So many people don't know that they are stealing artwork from so many fabulous hard working, talented artists such as you. I remember messaging you when I first saw those stolen stamps. It made me sick. I have never bought anything from those sites again. I will save for what I want. For anyone wanting to know I loved Dyan's classes. You get so much done and still have fun. Nobody wastes your time going on about nothing as I have experienced in other classes. I will never forget the look of horror on the faces of the scrapbookers being asked to spray ink on a book. Love you Dyan.

Love the cut outs. Both sides look fantastic. I too, am extremely grateful to have my garden. I get back from work & sit with coffee, before going inside & taking my work clothes off. My vegetable seeds are germinating & it's quite exciting to see they. My Mason Bees ( wild bees) will soon be hatching & coming out of my insect hotels. I spent last year watching them laying & covering the eggs, when I was redundant from my old job. Fortunate indeed 😊❤

Thank you for being you and the day by day. I am in Australia so when I first wake up I head straight to RU-vid to see what awesome creation you have created for the next day. It’s hard for me to complete day by day during the week as been isolated and working from home fulltime and teaching my child. I instead order supplies from our amazing small businesses at this time need as much support as possible. Then when the weekend arrives I have an opportunity to get things done. Thanks Dyan and your family for bringing this opportunity to us so we can learn. Ps I need to get you to Perth Australia when all this is over.

I love your work, and I can’t imagine the feeling when somebody steal your products😔 people buying them should be ashame. Almost everything on Ali Express and all og that is stolen designs. People should just stop buying it! If some of you can’t afford the real thing, then just accept that you cant’t afford it, and save up until you can afford the real thing. Be respectful to our dear designers, support them, and buy the real thing❤️

I finally finished watching. When I got up yesterday, it was a sunny day so I went outside with my iced office and sat on my deck to listen to the birds and weed some of my flower pots. I spent several hours working on my Dyalog actually starting it in March since that is when CA began its lockdown. I’m already loving it. Thanks for all the inspiration. When I took your classes last fall, I went with the attitude that I paid good money and if I needed a break from your fast pace, then I took it. I didn’t have to do all that u offered. And my back fractures/pain pretty much dictated what I could tolerate. I totally enjoyed the classes and meeting you in person. Look forward to watching your next video today.

whoot whoot, I'm caught up! not with the journal or anything but with the videos. Dyan thank you so much for pushing through. I have been sick for six weeks, yesterday I started to feel better and today I had energy, so I thought about what you said and I cleaned my kitchen and laundry from top to bottom lol. Maybe tomorrow I might get to art. A big shout out to all of your family for all they are doing for us as well and especially for your little grandson, hope he is feeling better :)

Hi Dyan 👋 I'm behind a day. Madison is broke out from her anxiety. And she scratched. She loves you so we went back a year and watched your videos for two hours until she fell asleep. Your voice soothes her too so thank you!!! 😊 Now, I always wanted to know the easy way to cut the little squares away so THANK YOU!!! I love this. Love, love, love the black journal you showed where you had a lot cut out. GORGEOUS!!! Oh my gosh, you have such a creative mind. I would never think to use your post it stickers as hair or a hat!!! Amazing!!! I learned a lot. LOVE THIS PAGE!! Thank you. I am so happy that I am not the only person that loves wearing perfume daily. I love smelling nice. I don't care if I'm home alone. It's my treat to myself. I don't wear makeup or dress fancy but I smell good. It's so wrong that they steal your designs. I bought some dies over a year ago and deleted the app for this very reason. Every designer's designs were showing up. A lot of hard work and money goes into those designs. It is heartbreaking to have someone steal them and not be able to stop them. I would rather have one set of your stamps than all of their knock offs. Same with Tim's, Dina's and Wendy's. ok I wrote a book. Have a lovely day. Still praying for Otis, I hope he's improving. The pages today are fabulous! I have to say that my black Dyalog is one of my favorites. It is definitely my go to stress reliever. I just doodle and my grandkids think they are the best thing ever. (they aren't but im glad the grandkids are impressed 😂). I'm so sorry that people are stealing your designs - that is just wrong. Have a great day! Enjoy your garden!

What a lovely page/pages your made today! Thank you for treating us to a video every day ❤ About these online shops stealing artists work I am 100% with you. I can't afford stamps, generally, so I just think: "oh well, I get to practice ny drawing". Instead of buying stolen art I do my own diecuts (drawing and cutting them out with scissors) or instead of stolen stamps i draw. It has Only benefitted my art/journaling and maybe i can wish for some stamps for mothersday 😀 the real ones! When you post a new video I make my self the biggest cup of coffey, put the boys infront of their videogames and just treat myself to a moment of calm creativity. Thank you!!❤

I so love your peek through pages!! Good thing you mention about the stealing Chinese shops. Ever since I became aware of what the do, I point it out to people. It’s quite shocking how many folks just don’t care. The only thing I then can think of to add is how they help ruining businesses that are often a one person company and how in the end there won’t be any more of the content they love but won’t pay for. I’m on a very small budget, so I have to be smart about my expenses. That means I only buy what I really really love and what I think I will be using over and over again. So I don’t have many stamps, but did invest in some great stencils. I think yours were among the first I bought. That’s about 10 years ago and I still use them!

Hello Dyan... It’s so calming hearing your voice and mesmerizing watching you create that this morning I’m a bit too relaxed after today’s video! Question: what do you do when you don’t really feel like doing anything???? Answer: DO Something - anything and it will get you going. So... I must go do something to motivate me onto the next thing so that I can PLAY later as my reward for getting the must do items done. Thanks for another wonderful class, the die cut image is one of the first stamps I bought. I would come on leave from Bahrain and my art from the heart order was waiting for me to take back, always like Christmas twice a year. I always blamed you for my excess baggage and my dear hubby would just roll his eyes lol. It’s despicable that people pinch ideas from other artist I have seen this many times. I’m a bit behind but who cares I am enjoying all your classes and Sundays plus the weekly ones. X

Yes, sadly, it's not just the stamping world which commerce sites like AliExpress, etc rip off. ANY type of artwork found on sites like that is likely being used WITHOUT the artist permission. (Diamond designs, cross stitch, embroidery, fine art, paint by numbers, you name it.) It's easy to check with the artist to see if they have licensed their artwork with the site. They will either say yes OR they will thank you for pointing out that their artwork has been stolen. They then have the option of trying to at least get it removed from the site (if they can't get compensation - an unlikely scenario in any event). Thank you, Dyan, for giving this issue some attention. :)

I love this idea! Still praying for Otis! I don’t know if you have thought about this but I think this whole series of videos could be put in one place after all this is over and labeled Beginner Information. Or something similar. In all these videos you tell use about art tools, paint, pens, ideas for pages. All these pages can be expanded and used in the larger journals. Perhaps people could be directed to these videos when asking questions. There is also very good advice about using what you have, adapting, and enjoying the art making. As you said “It isn’t a race”! Thank you for pushing on and taking us with you!

Thanks Dyan for another cool page , I'm on fixed income I save $5,00 dollar toward a stamp set of your or even Tim's sometimes I get lucky I'll find someone who even reselling your stamps who's used them and ready to pass them down for a good price I bought from Allie express once not knowing but when I did find out I haven't bought since , I just order your Heart Border stencil ,Dylusions Creative Journal - LARGE there be in here next week thanks again

The bad news -- we're halfway through April. What will we do come May 1 when there's no Dyan daily? Good news -- we're only halfway through! I wear perfume for myself, always. Like you, I love to smell good. And I spray my sheets with it too! Thanks again for these great lessons.

Have I mentioned how much I am enjoying this series of videos? It is super inspiring. You have me loading and unloading my Scrapbook.com cart. All of a sudden, I really want to get a black dyalog book and some white pens. While I know eventually I will try to get all the paints and surfaces, are there recommendations somewhere with recommendations of how to start a dylusion paint collection? Going to wait a couple days, and maybe just start with a black journal...

I rarely buy anything from Wish, because as you say, the quality is rubbish and I don't feel ok supporting their stealing. My biggest problem with your stuff and also Dina's is availability, not many stores in Sweden has your stuff, which I can understand from their perspective, but the ones that do I absolutely adore! One of them, Cili In Papers is in Gothenburg and it's the biggest craft store I know! And the other one, Pyssloteket in Stockholm is so small and charming. I can spend hours in both of them and since I visit them so rarely, I try to save up for a big shopping spree :) I also have a third store I like to buy from, they're however much smaller and can't afford getting stuff from USA, so they tend to stay to brands in Europe. So I don't want to buy things from Wish if I can buy from "my" stores and support both the designer and the store at the same time. Plus you get the item straight away and don't have to wait a month or two :P

Silly, Dyan! Of course people will keep asking about your pens. For 1), because you will always have new viewers, but also 2) because people are silly gits that don't always pay attention. Loveable silly gits, but gits nonetheless. So, what pens did you say you're using? :)
