I have the same Dyna WG and love it! I've redone pretty much everything on mine at this point but if I can make a suggestion, replace that stock rear suspension and get new front springs. Doing so will make it ride so much better! So worth it!
I've never really been into bikes just due to lack of looking into them/lack of funds BUT. From a guy who isn't really into them that thing honestly looks super siiiiick! Gonna get me to start looking into them 😂. You and (idk if you know him) but Cal Von Moger both have sick bikes! Glad you got something you'll really enjoy!!!! 😁
Mr. B Fit yeah he’s got some crazy V-rod muscle bike. That thing is sick. This is more of a classic look but I want to eventually fatten up the tire if I can do it for a good price.
Nice bike indeed ! Almost bought one 5 years ago ... The Wide Glide also displays a 21 inches front wheel and therefore a more inclined fork compared to other Dynas... I finally bought a Softail Blackline very similar in shape except for the hidden horizontal shocks and the distinctive horse-shoe oil tank under the seat... Ride/stay safe

Dan welcome to the Dyna world great looking bike a ride a 2007 street bob, you seemed to have not mentioned that a big difference between the Dyna and the softail is not just the exposed rear springs but the frame...there is nor swing arm per se on the Dyna you see the rear frame is flat :)
Nice, get taller suspension 14 inch at least, new seat with back support for them wheelies, and a TWO INTO ONE TBR EXHAUST ! Oh and shinko 777 tires ! White walls if you want class haha
That is a pretty machine. Just got my first HD and it's a '94 Evo Dyna Wide Glide. I rode one Softail and the ride was like riding on a cloud, I really wanted a Softail but couldn't pass up this Dyna for the condition and price, plus it was less than a mile from home.

Make sure you turn that switch off and don't just hit the kill switch. When I first got my harley fatbob I used to ALWAYS forget and i'd come back out and my battery would be dead lol
A beautiful bike you have there. I'm about to buy my first Harley, but Harley has so many gorgeous bikes to chose from...I'm down to either the "Wide Glide" or the "Super Glide Custom' Like you I went through that phase of figuring out the differences between the Dyna's, Softail's Street and sportsters. I was really confused when I found out half the new (2018 to 2020) softails use to be Dyna's. Anyway, I think I have it all figured out now. Enjoy your ride.
Got a 2010 wide glide myself a year ago fucking love it . Got it at 10.5k miles got almost 15 on it now was just looking up softail/ wide glide differences great vid man . Mines a reddish color but the bikes look almost the exact same . Screaming eagle air filter , and custom Matt black exhaust that’s just one exhaust doesn’t break into 2 . But that’s a clean looking bike man !! Ride safe
Some people might of commented already but softtails have a counterbalanced engine and it’s solid mounted, dynas are rubber mounted non counterbalanced.
Thanks for explaining it. I too was look on RU-vid for different types of Harleys and ways to tell them apart and couldn't find any good videos so I appreciate you doing this video. 1st bike was Yamaha 950 star cusier 2nd bike was Harley Davison 883 sporster and 3rd bike was Honda VTX 1300. I've been riding for years and I still can't tell many bikes apart I know a few different Harley engines by sight but that's it. I can't wait to get another Harley/bike and thanks again for the video.

HD has only ever sold 1 model as a hardtail, and it's the HD Springer, and even it still has springs under the seat. Hardtails are almost exclusively a chopper thing.
Have you very read one I had a Harley's years ago you really need to watch everyone around you my ex husband lost help his leg going to get my out of storage to clean so I could go take mine test can not send pic of my harley so stay safe amen
