Sony aal the way! Cannons could be cool for a character, or a distorted smash mic, or something, as they clearly have a tonne of midrange honk, but Sony's sound really quite nice to my ears, at least quite natural/smooth.

I think I may have asked you in the past, but you know how a lot of older prosumer, and tape player mics etc are often pretty high impedance, like 250 ohms to 600 ohms, and maybe even higher, do you ever use any impedance transformers etc to match them better to your preamps, or have any other tricks/methods to get better efficiency from them?
Well, the Sony's are a force to be reckend with, I agree and I most definitely will keep them. But for color and/or heavy processing the Canon's could bi interesting. Liebe Grüsse Benno
