learn how to enable and use the Dynamic Translation feature in Servicenow platform (in the New York release). Use Machine Translation to translate dynamically-generated text fields (like Short description or Activity Stream/log) in Platform UI and Service Portal.

Nice video. I followed your steps to configured Incident Short Description field. I have Spanish value and like to translate to English. When I clicked "Translate" and then I got this message: "Text cannot be translated to your preferred language." Any suggestions?

Hi Nimer, It was very helpful. Just followed your steps I am able configure the dynamic translation. However, On service portal I do not see the translate button. Like, you showed on your screen. Could you please help.

Make sure you are using the OOB widget on the portal.

@@nimerkawwa Thanks Nimer, You are right. since we used a customized widget we lost that functionality. Also, may I request you share a video on how to integrate with Microsoft or Google please. Also, which is best translator among these two that we can recommend to a customer.

@@gnanikumar8616 both MS and Google are good. Google supports more language but I think Google is blocked in China. So it depends on your customer use case and global presence. Also check Glossary capability that can be helpful. Also good to note that MS and Google are still not that good for translating "contextually" some Asian languages. Don't make your decision solely on this feedback. You should evaluate first.

How you have option on the top bar of your service portal as select language does it have any functionality , please reply me the same!

The language selector is not for dynamic translations.
