I think you are a really good teacher, and that is a huge plus if you are going to videos like this. I am not a singer, but I have some instrumental background so music is not strange to me. I found this interesting, and well done. It's good that you do something like this because it is not something you see everywhere on RU-vid. Side notes: I liked the B/W video, it catches your attention because is is not common. Second, it is interesting to me watching you talk, and then sing, and then talk. You are like two different people in the best of ways. I like how you sing, and I am going to go watch your cover now. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and be safe out there.

Hello madam, I want to record my poetry professionally at home. Which microphone should I buy? Dynamic or Condenser Mic? My room is not soundproof. Should I get a dynamic mic? If I record the same verse on both dynamic mic and condenser mic. After mixing and mastering, what would be the difference between the poetry recorded from both the mics? Will both be of the same quality? Will both have different quality? If the quality of condenser mic will be crisp. So can I make the poetry recorded with dynamic mic sound crisp? like condenser microphone? Please tell me such a mic and audio interface that I will not regret after buying. I am complete begginer. I am very confused. I have added money in 4 years with a lot of hard work. I don't want my money to be wasted.

How do you catch your dynamic voice on your mixer? Gain for the quite parts could go red on the louder part and reverse 😅… gret channel by the way…

Ummm - could make a suggestion on the name - but I'm a Kiwi - you'll probably be offended ehh! Very well done btw. A couple of suggestion's if I may. I am a techy - old school (ancient!) I am working with a young RU-vid artist who is struggling with confidence - its all because of technical things - I think she is now comfortable and will blossom. I think you may have the same issue and I like you :) :) and would like to help if I can :) You musicians are brilliant at the audio and video editing today - good sense of timing I think. But, there is no manual on how to work with a camera (I can't find one anyway!) So I can be your manual. Trained by the good old NZ government - NZ broadcasting. The biggest no no is - don't look in the eye - it creates tension and stress and causes excessive blinking and and forces you to look away. They call the lens of the camera the "eye" for good reason - it has the same psychological impact as the human eye - do not look at it. But you say - "I have to" - nope not true - move the camera further back and use zoom to frame what you want to see. pick something either above or below the camera to talk to - the audience cannot tell. TV news readers use Teleprompters - the camera is usually at least 4 meters back and in a lot of studios, much more - you really can't tell where they are looking. We were told to look at the light on top! Second is a techy trick on video editing - the eye will see a transition if you cut the vid - however if you put a blank or fill frame between the two parts of the cut, this fools the eye and its less jarring - experiment on how many to put in. Two cameras is better - you just change the scene and switch back when ready. Hope this helps Miss Rise. - cheers Ross
