Can vouch for Dave's awesome coaching. I got a video coaching session about 3 months ago maybe a little over and Dave corrected my posture, my grip and how I set myself which have made major improvements to my game. The work never stops and I'm intending to get some more coaching now I've put what I learned into practice. Great value for money and great advice.
I have watched parts of this video 50 times. There is alot of gifts to unpack in this video. Especially in the upper body section. Super informative coach. One day I'll get out there for a live session!!!
And when you do buddy the beers will be on me. when you come to me for coaching we go out in the evenings to my locals and play some proper dart players its a fantastic atmosphere and the darts are usually awesome you will love it...
Tested the advice from one of these videos. Altered my sighting so my throw doesn’t come across the sight line. Tried my practice games and beat my score on every one of them. Nice one 👍

A good tip when wanting to stand in the exact same place is to draw a chalk line around your foot onto the floor or mat. You can then put your foot exactly into the outline after every visit.
Started stroking the dynamite dave way for about an hour and already seeing the difference. Feel more steady and the rhythm of throwing is helping with the grouping. Let’s see how the next week or 2 goes. Hopefully can finally break into the 60+ average game
Found your videos and for the last 4 days I’ve been trying your way of throwing. And I must say for the throws where I get everything right, it’s made throwing straight darts make sense. Then there will be a lull where I can’t get it right haha but those straight darts has made me decide to stick with it, adopt the routine/throw no matter how long it takes. I moved a lot 4 days ago and your stance has taken care of that when I get it right. I used to throw under my right eye and I suppose throwing from side of my face is the hardest aspect I’m trying to get to grips with but I am throwing darts throughout the day when I get 10 or 20 minutes so I will try my best to make it work.
Glad that I have found yer channel dude. Watched a few other dart tutorials and you Deffo explain things clearer and more concise. Thanks Dave and I hope I can get better I have just started but I absolutely love darts.When it comes to tension no sport comes close imo.

Great video mate. This has helped me correct an issue I've had for a while in that i was adjusting my arm position rather than my body position. I've been a decent player for a while but inconsistent and i think this is what ive needed to sort it out. However, I've encountered another issue - my darts seem to land on an angle upwards to the right and I cant seem to work out what im doing wrong, any advice?

My darts are dropping below the treble twenty is it because i have bad shoulder just had a cortisone injection will it get better so i can get the treble twenty?

Hi Buddy, there are a few things you can do but it depends how handy you are at DIY. one of the easier ways is acoustic foam its squares like in a recording studio they are available on eBay and amazon. I have done this for a few players now and its a real winner. take your board right off and undo the bracket (I am assuming you have a standard U and screw bracket that comes with 99% of boards). apply the Acoustic boards to the wall they make a square now cut a piece of ply wood the same size as the square use 4 good wall plugs and screws about 5cm from the corners through the acoustic and into the wall tighten down the screws till the ply just grips the AC board and it dont move about then simply mark and remount your board to the ply. and use rubber wedges to true up your board not wood or the plastic screw feet rubber chocks you can get from again Amazon or eBay or even the pound shot. But not plastic has to be rubber. Hope this helps buddy or if your no good at DIY just buy a good quality stand and place it a couple of inches from the wall. Cheers D Dave.
Hi what medical condition do you have that causes your eye dominance buddy as i have been teaching for over 7 years now and never come across any player who is claiming eye dominance who isn't in fact blocking there vision with the dart or Dart hand. its like wearing a patch on your right eye and claiming you can only see out of your left eye and that means you left eye dominant. I have no medical condition there’s just a test you can do to see what eye is the most dominant, some people say it can change the way you setup you’re stance. And you are right I do block my vision at the moment. Makes perfect sense what you are saying in the above video. I’m just one of those players that used to be very good when I was younger. Lost my throw and ability just as I was progressing, just went over night. Have some really bad habits now lol. But I will start over again and follow the video above. I’ve been playing darts 26 years now lol. A game I used to find so easy is now very hard but still love it :)
@@niblet112 Buddy i wish i had a quid for every time i here a player say i used to be a great player but ive lost it, i could go on for hours explaining it and in the few lines you have wrote you have said it all. I will just add a few words 1 you are not the man you used to be you are older hopefully wiser your body has changed muscle mass tone and memory have all changed. So no you can not throw the way you used to because you are not what you used to be. and my one nugget of advice is without change there can be NO improvements. The very Definition of insanity is Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results... The DD way has changed thousands of players lives never mind their game i get between 38'000 and 50'000 views a month buddy and its not because it doesn't work its because it does. Cheers D Dave...
I had a similar problem. The surround was an extremely tight fit to get around the board. Eventually after a few times it must’ve stretched a little now it fits perfect.
@@chrisclements3681 you will find the mission boards are a smaller diameter so it fits there boards properly they do this to part you from your hard earned you possibly have to either buy a mission board or heat up the surround with a hair dryer get it nice n hot then it should go over.
@@chrisclements3681 I have the opposite problem,I've got half an inch of space left when it goes over my blade 5 so have to use a dollop of blu tak under the 3 and 19 areas
