We're back with another FM23 Rebuild challenge and today we take our talents to Germany to rebuild Dynamo Dresden.
The German club find themselves in the 3. Liga after relegation last season so I will take over as Dresden's manager and see where I can take this team in 10 seasons!

I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

Living in the eastern part of Germany for two years now I’ve been to a couple of games here (RW Erfurt, Carl Zeiss Jena and Dynamo Dresden) and they have some insane fans!!! Dresden has some of the wildest fan cultures I’ve ever seen with up to 5k away fans in the 3rd tier which is absolutely insane

I just stumbled upon your channel a few days ago and have to say that I really like your videos. As someone from east germany (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the north-east of germany) who supports one of Dresdens east german-rivals Hansa Rostock (but has sympathy for them) this video is even more enjoyable to watch. The world class-midfielder you had called Tra Bi would have been a fan favorite in every east german team because auf his name alone (east germany/ the GDR had one car that was one of the few cars you could get there at the time that was called a Trabant that people also called Trabi) 😂 The only thing (that someone else already pointed out) that is a bit weird is the pronounciation of the 3. Liga (you call it the three league/division but its called the third league/division --- its dritte Liga not drei Liga --- but that's just a minor thing and nothing too bad but it's nice that you try to say it in the original language :) ) All in all a wonderful Rebuild 😊👍 I would love to see more east german team-rebuilds in the future (my favourit would be Hansa Rostock 😅). 👍

Love these rebuilds! I think yours are the most enjoyable on RU-vid! Keep it up! If you don’t mind I have a rebuild suggestion for you. I would really love to see you rebuild a team from Australia, since the A-League is incredibly challenging (but fun) due to their salary cap and Australia only has one AFC Champions League winner in their history (Western Sydney Wanderers). Given your history of rebuilding teams like DC United, I think this might be an enjoyable one to watch and for you to play :)

Loved the video! For the future: 3. Liga, so the third league, is pronounced Dritte Liga. Saying Drei Liga means Three League, but German is very difficult 😉

Having done a save with 1860 Munchen I found Morgalla an absolute must start until Leverkusen came in and bought him but I also found Lino a really good free transfer in the first window, about 4k p/w was alot to begin with but for a gk that played for me in the bundesliga when we made it there it was worth it

If your looking for a future long term rebuild challenge try Sheffield Wednesday. I’ve had a couple of try’s but the debt is mind blowing at that level in comparison to the revenue stream.

I think it would help if you showed off more of of underlying stats and patterns. What was the xg table like? How did your goals came around? How did various players and transfers perform? What were some interesting and unexpected results? Cause at the moment what i mostly see is a plugin tactic combined with a list of cheap wonderkids. its not even clear whether you holidayed the seasons or not. rebuilds are fun and the idea is good, but this feels static

First up, thank you for the feedback. The plug in tactic is just a simple cross promotion of another video on the channel. I also display my own wonderkid finder, promoting another video… Holidaying is a staple of these rebuilds. Do people care about the xG tables and how my teams score goals? This is the first type of comment like this but I will definitely take it on board!

Normal database for the most part. Main 5 nations, all leagues. (Plus any others if I’m managing there) then I load every player from top clubs on every continent
