DYNAmore Express: Short Overview of Damage and Failure Models in LS-DYNA

An accurate failure prediction is fundamental for optimized designs in industrial applications. To that end, the correct employment of failure and damage models is crucial. In this presentation, we will shortly highlight the possibilities in LS-DYNA in order to accomplish this task where we will shed some light on the differences among the different models and their features. The aim is therefore to give the user a general impression of what is currently available in LS-DYNA.
