Man! it was my first time on yalls channel and im so hook now. Love how yall talk it out and gave each other different scenarios, reminds me of what my buddies and I do when we talk about rookie drafts every year. Yall are awesome cant wait to hear from yall after the NFL draft!!!
As a badger fan that watched all 3 years of Braelon Allen this is what I can tell you about the plateau. His 2nd season Wisconsin had one of their worst OLines in recent memory, the QB couldn’t throw, so there were 8 guys in the box all the time and the coach got fired. Overall that was just a bad team. Then they hire a new coach, Brand new system while still trying to use half of the old coaches players and new players with a still subpar OLine and it just never really worked. The air raid offense with his style of RB just didn’t really fit. Plus (and this is the part I’m worried about with him) he’s an upright runner and because of that he was always playing through lower body injuries.
Though I think that going to the NFL could actually be really helpful for his injuries because college football players don’t know how to tackle especially a guy as big as him and they resort to the hip drop A LOT so that being banned now could help with that 😂
@@wadeshadders1239 yeah I think it’s ok to be an upright runner especially if you’re agile for a big guy like Allen is it’s just lead to a lot of leg injuries at Wisconsin. That’s all I’m worried ab.
Im super excited for next season I got Mahomes JT Justin Jefferson Drake London Devonta Smith 1.01 pick I need a TE and running backs, what should I do?
This is my first rookie draft in my Superflex Dynasty league I have the 4th and 5th pick. I have so many choices of who I wanna take. Who should I take if Nabers isn't there?
I have Mark Andrews and McBride already, but let’s just say Bowers feel to me at 1.10. Should I take him just because he would almost certainly be the best player available even though I have other positional needs? It’s hard to get trades done in my league. Only a few happened last year
I'd like to ask Jason about his rushing QB scoring take. It's doesn't align to actual NFL, but that's not the point of fantasy. If we were trying to replicate the real game, we'd have offensive lineman and IDP for every league. It's "fantasy", if a QB rushes for 10 yards it's the same impact as a RB doing it
Took Braelon Allen with a top devy pick 3 years ago because he was a "perfect" prospect, hopefully he lives up to his freshman year hype. Outlook is bleak. He's slowed down and lost explosiveness since his freshman year, it's a huge red flag for me. But did his Oline get worse? Too much weights and not enough agility and footwork? Lazy? I say he ends up getting drafted by New England in the 3rd
Lots of good bottom feeder prospects in this draft. In my dynasty I traded away my first 2 picks but I am fine with that. I really hope my league mates clamor over adp and all the early QBs so that these lesser known talented WRs will drop further
With drake maye the reason he is falling is the footwork and basic fundamentals are not good and consistent. His arm is also not significantly better than others in the class. His standout ability is his size which cannot be coached
y'all should run an full 7 round NFL mock draft for fantasy relevant players before you do this - that way you'll have landing spots to make things spicier. You'll have ammunition to talk about & decisions to make, like if Harrison goes unexpectedly goes to New England. These kind of mock draft are worthless bc landing spots & situations make a huge difference in what happens. You're just drafting names & opinions in this kind of draft & it does not reflect reality. With landing spots you have tangible information to make decisions. BTW, the simple & logical solution to overblown QB rushing stats is just make QB rushes 15 yds/pt or 20 yds/pt.
most annoying fantasy cliche atm is drake maye enthusiasts not understanding why a lot of film guys dont like drake maye. its always is it just player fatigue? I dont know if drake maye is gonna be good or not. I do know that pretty much all of the film guys who dont like drake maye will tell you the exact same thing and all of them also fully agree with the people who love drake maye that hes great at the deep ball and rushes near the goal line. maybe just look into it a little bit there are many many many prominent film analysts mostly in the NFL space not in fantasy who dislike drake maye for very real reasons. who knows if it matters qbs are impossible evaluations to begin with and we are all terrible at it but the reasons are real and have been around since very early in the offseason.
"winning franchise" and "bears" haven't belonged in the same sentence since the '80s. Bears don't know how to develop quarterbacks. I'm in a 2qb dynasty league and I'm going to pass on Williams.
The first round hit rate failure is 50% for rookies. And everyone’s “worry” is a guy from the second round? Not quality content boys. Taking the easy road.
Once again Jason’s comments on Justin Fields are so wrong and stupid. Let’s stop pretending the HCs and executives in the NFL are super smart about players and are always right. They all wrong except the Steelers about Fields. Thumbs up revoked 💯💩
I mean, I love Fields but no one wanted him and word is he has "instinct issues" - which makes sense watching him. I'm rooting for him but his future in the league looks bleak.
@@kephartacus5454 their stupid. Too much talent and wayyyyy too young to give up on. It’s preposterous. He just needs competent coaching and an offensive scheme.
