honestly these 2 are at the top of their craft. Personally the Matt's and the guys at Fantasy Points are the guys I trust the most and have been following religiously the last 5 years. My success in both redraft & dynasty since then has been absurd. If you're not listening or subscribing to these guys then you're doing yourself a disservice as a fantasy football player.
49ers fan here, ive loved the pearsall pick from day one! You're right fans were made and now that reports have come out they're acting like they've always loved him. Now they keep saying trade aiyuk we don't need the drama we have pearsall 🤦🏼. I'm sorry I wanna see aiyuk and pearsall.
Sorry but fading Bo Nix that far makes zero sense. No matter how much you hate the guy, you’re not taking a 4th-round RB over a top-12 QB pick in superflex formats. C’mon guys.
Got a dyno deep enough to stash Penix, but sure would like more immediate backup help. Burrow going down sunk the year. That same impatience had me miss on Mahommes everywhere... even though I figured he'd be good. Will have to study up on where I can pick at a good spot and stash.
I feel really lucky to have a decent amount of kirk cousins in dynasty while also having late 1sts and also early 2nds on those same teams.... it feels like a smart move for me to take Penix.
The Anquan Boldin slander from Harmon will not be tolerated by this Ravens fan who still watches the highlights from that 2013 SB run in order to feel.
I'm curious how high you guys would take Bowers with a big TE premium. I'm in a SuperFlex where TEs get 2PPR. I'm sitting at 6 and thinking of taking Bowers there if he's still available. Burrow/Dak/O'Connell are my QBs. I drafted Mayer at 1.11 last year, but that doesn't factor into my decision.
I hate to disagree with Matt, but passing on a cheap trade for Fields makes the Penix pick the worst of this draft. Even if it was a third or fourth rounder for Fields because they also don't sign Cousins then the Falcons have the money for Kirk and the pick for Penix to fill holes elsewhere for the cost of a mid-round pick, or even feel comfortable to trade down to any team in the 11-13 range and pick up a similar pick they spent for Fields PLUS more picks, and still get their favorite defensive player. Falcons just stacking losses on top of each other this off-season.
@@jozz2248 I'm saying they signed Fields so they don't care about Penix. So with other teams being interested in him they could have reaped a good reward for getting Fields cheap.
Taking Michael Penix over Nix is crazy. Most reasonable mocks have him at the end of the first round, and in a superflex league, saying he has value of a 2.09 pick just feels like lack of football knowledge to me, but maybe that's just my eyes and how I look at him as a prospect. He has the best pressure to sack rate as well as time to throw rate of any QB in the draft class. I think he's easily worthy of the 1.08-1.12. Saying he has the value of the 2.09 is just going off ADP lol.
Calling JJ McCarthy Jake Plummer-esque is insane to me. McCarthy was tied for the 6th fastest 3 Cone at the combine, his athleticism is wildly underrated. So he’s much, much more mobile. And he’s just flat out not as turnover prone as a QB like Plummer would he. Plummer threw more INTs than TDs for almost his entire career. I highly doubt McCarthy is that guy, he’s way too efficient with the ball. His INTs went from 5 to 4 in college. Plummer threw 9 INTs pretty much every year of college. McCarthy’s a super intriguing QB prospect with a ton of upside.
