It’s the fact that so many people view 3rds as literally nothing that makes them so enticing to stack. You’ve gotta pay up for 1sts and 2nds, but can get 3rds as throw-ins. If the objective of a rookie draft is to hit a bullseye, why would you turn down darts that are practically free? If they don’t pan out, cut them…it’s not like you paid up for them. But it only takes one Puka every 10 years, or a Dell every 3 years, to make it a worthwhile strategy.

Man more Josh reynolds slander that I just don’t get! I was listening to a pro Marvin mims take saying he was clearly the wr2 in Denver. Now this saying Jamo is no good because he was behind reynolds. Stop the slander! Josh reynolds is a very good NFL wr! No he isn’t a fantasy stud, but from a coaches perspective he is very good. He is a solid blocker, he gives great effort all the time, he is able to find holes and be a QBs friend, he has positional flexibility, Josh reynolds is a very underrated nfl wr! No he isn’t a fantasy stud. But coaches don’t care about fantasy, they care about winning and Josh reynolds does so many of the little things well that coaches always want him on the field because they can trust him to do whatever they ask

Josh reynolds is a good receiver which is why he is in the nfl, in fact that makes him elite by the overall standard, but there are somewhere around 50 wrs better than josh reynolds in the nfl.

The reason why I’m high on Jameson Williams is what his coach said. Last year when he was asked about Jamo, he basically said “he’s got a lot of work to do”. A year later, Campbell was asked a similar question and basically said “Jamo is him.” His coach didn’t sugar coat it last year, why would he sugar coat it this year? And it’s not just his words. They could’ve drafted a WR, they don’t. They could’ve signed a WR in the off season, they didn’t. They let Josh Reynolds walk, everything shows that the Lions believe in him to be their WR2. If the people who see him play throughout the year believe in him, then so do I

id be willing to give a chance on jameson williams but i already have AmonRa x2, Goff, and David Montgomery on my dynasty squads. If you have an old WR squad and need to start turning over your roster i think jameson could be a cheap dart throw on a younger guy to try and get some upside

Thoughts on receiving a 2025 3rd round (likely will be a later pick) + 2026 2nd for Kamara? The guy offering is in ‘’win now” mode especially after just getting Aiyuk so this helps him even more; whereas im in win in the next few years or so. So it makes sense I just think I could get a little higher picks, at least a 2025 2nd for Kamara. Keep in mind I have 4 1sts, 3 2nds and 2 3rds in 2025

This is a decent show but what would take it to the next level is offering realistic trade values. When your hypothetical trades are selling Jameson Williams for a first or Deebo for Keon Coleman+a first it has no value. You are never going to get those trades and it can go without saying that you’d want to do them

You’d be lucky to get a 1st for Deebo let alone a 1st round rookie WR and a 1st. You guys had him like WR14 in redraft rankings and he has no age value. You should not be sending 1sts for WR2s in a very flat tier

@@alexgianino2394 nah I value them appropriately. But by all means go ahead and send all your 1sts for an aging WR2. It’s also not even necessarily about Deebo. It’s about the opportunity cost of using that 1st to buy Deebo instead of adding to a larger more impactful deal

100% agree, although unfortunately it seems like a lot of content creators devalue picks. It seems like every productive WR is a first+ to these guys when that’s definitely not the case in leagues im in. Even the Olave discussion, McConkey + 2 firsts? Like what? Nobody in their right mind is offering that

Fantasy footballers are entertaining, but man they would get schooled in dynasty leagues with some of the degenerates. I wonder if they only play with buddies in 1qb leagues. They dont really talk format which has drastic impact on scoring and value.

Traded jefferson away from Olave a 25 1st and Pacheco … feel good about it… I know some people might not like that trade but if Olave is a strong WR2 the trade hits…there are a ton of ways for that trade to work for me, there’s only 1 way that trade doesn’t work for Jefferson…

Reed fills watson role. Reeds big games come when watsons off the field. Idk what this year holds but wicks is a sneaky trade for if you dont wanna pay the Reed tax which i dont think he'll be the X or Wr 1

I cashed in on deebo about a month ago. Deebo, t-law, and the 1.06 for ARSB, 2025 1st, and 2026 2nd likely late picks. 1 qb 14 team league. Guy really needed a qb upgrade so wanted Lawrence. Then drafted Caleb at 1.06 which really surprised me. After the picks were made I think it’s a big win for me and a big loss for him. He is going in pretty heavy to win this next year. CMC deebo Hopkins, engram, Mixon, all will be 28+ by the time the season starts

@@expertmike7695Yeah, it was actually 2.06, sent Minchew and 2.02 for 2.06 and muskgrave, no rbs this year. Im set at qb with burrow and love, wr I've got Higgins, Diontae Johnson (I'm optimistic), Rashid Shaheed, Watson/wicks, draft Nabers at 1.02 to give the upside. Yeah tanks great I love him but I needed that second RB, Bigsby, Pierce, Mckinnon, Murray aren't good RB 2s my dynasty leagues available players is a legit wasteland

@@BBkoala777 agreed, i like dell over kyren and the 2.02 over kyren if i am rebuilding or competing. Do not be buying runningbacks unless u ready to compete should be the biggest lesson for dynasty gamers, unless u getting crazy value and understand u can resell the rb u buying for more.

If I had another legit high potential WR like Waddle on my roster already, I might accept that trade. Depth is a key component to success in fantasy that isn't often talked about. The main thing here however is explosive upside. Waddle has it. Kirk & McConkey probably don't - they'll be good/solid fantasy assets weekly, but won't have those week-winning performances. So it depends on what you need/prefer.

Yes Reed was behind Watson in the pecking order last year when they both played. Yes Reed wasn't as productive as Watson when they both played. Let's all repeat that ad nauseum and just shrug and completely ignore the fact that Reed was A ROOKIE last year, every single time this dynamic is brought up and rehashed. Of course A ROOKIE lost snaps to the more experienced veteran last year right when the team was in a winning stretch of their season. Shock. Surprise. Mystified awe at the novelty of that! Yall know what Reed isn't going to be this year though? A ROOKIE. Crazy thought, but perhaps the snap dynamic could just change a bit with Reed having a year of experience now in the offense. Him being a rookie definitely factored into him losing snaps to Watson when he did imo. It just gets annoying that no one ever mentions that in conjunction with talk of their on field snap share percents together

Betz is way off on Jamo. Think about his history. He was injured for most of his 1st season, then suspended for the beginning of his next. His potential was obscured and stunted by those absences. Look what Detroit did with him at the end of last season & the playoffs. He was basically featured, especially in the San Fran game. That's coming up. They let their safety blanket go in Reynolds, paving a clear path for Jamo to step in & he showed he's ready for it. Big mistake to wave him off. I think "experts" like these guys focus WAY too much on whether a guy has the potential to be a WR1. That's unrealistic. You need to stack your roster with depth - depth, depth, depth. Give me 1 WR1 and 6 WR2's and I'll win the ship. Too many things factor into a season - injuries, byes, coaching preferences, gameplans, etc - so you have to have guys like Jamo on your roster for all those reasons. Versatility & depth are a key to success in fantasy football.

DK & it shouldn't be close. DK's upside is a stratosphere above Zay's. What we saw last season was almost the ceiling for Flowers, which would've been a down year for DK.

@@mudman619 DK is consistent, but he's a WR2 who has gotten statistically worse every year. He'll be 28 by the end of 2025 and no one will want an aging WR2. Zay's value ceiling is better long term and will probably produce close to DK. They were about 1 PPR PPG different last year. Zay is 3 years younger and tied to Lamar. DK might have a rookie or Sam Howell next season.

Rachaad White was one of the two most inefficient starting runners in the league last year along with Alvin Kamara, both are losing volume this year to their backups.
