​@@zerozombie5400 yeah honestly in terms of story telling, DW7 is no doubt the best, with the good voice acting, narration, fleshed out designs, and new characters, particularly Wu, and I'm not saying that just bc I'm a Sun Quan fanboy, but even still we gotta admit that he was quite boring before DW7

Here are some things to consider. 1. Cao Cao comtributions created the best dynasty before he died. It had the most resources, it had the emperor, and it had safety from invasion. 2. His final military campaign was not a failure. Guan Yu was slayed.

You usually don't choose the position you die in. Also, Cao Cao had his illness for almost 20 years, by that time he was already used to it, I think.

My two favorite characters in the game

In ROTK, quite a lot of prominent Wu generals such as Gan Ning, Cheng Pu and Pan Zhang are all depicted as being killed in the Battle of Xiaoting, whereas historically these generals were either already dead by the time Liu Bei invaded Wu, or died well after the campaign ended in Pan Zhang's case. Hell, Zhao Yun didn't even participate in the Battle of Xiaoting, and yet you still play as him in this game.

@@Exilninja Zhao Yun did technically show up and arrived with reinforcements as a result of the fire attack when Wu was pursuing Liu Bei during his retreat. In a way, the game kind of portrayed that right, since there were officers already fighting Wu as soon as the stage starts and how the fire attack almost happens immediately after, meaning and implying that Zhao Yun did not participate the full battle, in addition to the fact that Zhao Yun was hurrying himself to rescue Liu Bei on time, as Wu is pursuing him. In reality, Wu decided to stop pursuing Liu Bei and retreated on their own, which resulted to Zhao Yun and his reinforcements not having to fight them, since they weren’t going for Liu Bei anymore. Although it could’ve gone differently if Wu decided to continue pursuing Liu Bei and end up encountering Zhao Yun & his reinforcements, which is what I think KOEI might have tried to do here in this game particularly.

I believe every character in DW8 and Xtreme Legends have an additional 3rd musou attack when they level up. Of course, it could be a R1 attack or an aerial musou depending on the character.

There is no musou mode in Xtreme Legends. XL is an expansion and you can only play the musou modes by having the base DW7 game and using the Mixjoy feature.

@@Xaldin007 what? I thought the DW 7 xl was like the dw7 normal with more things so that means that dw8 xl is just a kind of expansion of dw8 and dw8 is the real game?

@@Xaldin007 I researched awhile ago and the xl version of DW 8 at least have everything of the base dw8 plus new things that comes with the xl at least for the ps4 version named "dynasty warriors 8 extreme legends complete edition
