I love DW9's added depiction of the afterlife. Sure its a bit cheesy but I think its a nice touch. Kind of gives that "yes he died, but we get to see him reunite with Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Arguably I think it could be a decent touch to slab the other characters who were of the opposing side meaning that all in the end would see each other in a different light than oppositions of a tragic and generations of war.
Cos it was requested by Purple ocean. Dw6 doesn't have much of these Cutscene so it's okay to put a scene which nearly looks like it could fit the video.
I would personally disagree to that, in my own opinion; Cao Cao of Wei was the greatest character in all the three kingdoms romance, for he was able to establish mighty and powerful kingdom out from scratch, accomplished numerous extravagant campaigns with remarkable and cunning strategies, acquired the most of the land in the shortest amount of time, possesses most of the best warriors, yet he still choose to remain as warlord rather than take the title as the Han emperor and rule over the land under his reign despite the fact that he can actually do it with his capabilities, he never did, because he knew that it would only restrict his action more if he will acquire the throne and will slow down his campaign for conquest, It's just my opinion, based on how i read the 2 books of ROTK, it's still arguably though.
@@chickletsushi2761 i was referring to the 2 versions (Romance of the Three Kingdoms: book of Wei and Romance of the Three Kingdoms: book of Shu), But to those who don't know, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is actually a set of novel books written in various ways but by the same author( i think), so i if you're going to check it online, you will notice that there are some of them sold as a set which includes the 3 books (book of Shu, book of Wei and book of Sun Wu) along with the generic and neutral book of ROTK with sometimes with an insane price on them, each book's story actually concentrates on how each kingdom goes as the story progress (except for the generic and neutral because it centers on every events of the 3 kingdom era) For example, in the book of Wu; they describe what kind of leader Yuan Shao is, he's too self-centered, annoying, prideful and they described him as stupid because he almost got Sun Jian's platoon starve to death because he sent Sun Jian's and his men to the front lines during the battle against Dong Zhou and they were too far so Yuan Shao neglected them assuming they're all dead but after Sun Jian saw this act of Yuan Shao he let Hua Xiong, a general of Dong Zhou to attack them and Sun Jian responded with an aggressive counter attack by cornering them rendering them helpless thus successfully slaying Hua Xiong and acquiring all of their food supply, but instead of Yuan Shao acknowledging Sun Jian's success, he mocked Sun Jian for disobedience even stripping from his position but his entire platoon refuses to acknowledge Yuan Shao's orders they even went in position to strike Yuan Shao if they will killed for siding Sun Jian but Yuan Shao just let them continue on but putting Sun Jian on a different area, that's why the Wu weren't that noticed that much during the tyranny of Dong Zhou, Each book is very interesting especially if you really want to know a specific thing in the ROTK
@@Rokuhara.south.teranoHistorically speaking yes, Jin Kingdom won the three kingdoms war, but If I remember It definitely under different rule (Sima Yi die) by the point Jin win the war
@@Rokuhara.south.terano I guess though to be fair, it won't happen very easily since Sima Yi made Jin Kingdom for a reason and it something had to do with Wei
It'd be amazing if in a future game they actually show what they did with his body afterwards. They actually dressed his body in his battle gear, strapped him to his horse and then made him, together with a part of the army charge at the Wei army. Sima Yi who had heard that Zhuge Liang had died via rumors that had been spreading because of commoners, saw Zhuge Liang charge at him and instantly thought that the rumours of his dead were another one of his strategies. Not being ready with a counter strategy, because he believed his biggest rival had died, he instantly decided to declare a full retreat.
Is the same history of El Cid (Rodrigo Dias de Vivar), Campeador. "Tied to his horse, Cid Campeador, remains stable pouring his gore, only this vision spreads fear and fright, foes indecision gives him the fight. After expiring great feat he did, his foes are choiring O, Mio Cid!"
Another version has the Shu army use a wooden mannequin wearing his attire while placing it on his personal chariot. The idiom "A dead Zhuge Liang scares off a living Sima" is meant to show how even after death Zhuge Liang can still outwit Sima Yi.
7 and 8 do a great job of showing the motivation for Jiang Wei to become obsessed with attacking the north. Sure his personality as a character suffers but at least we understand why he becomes so psychotically consumed.
Zhuge liang is truly hero. He could rest to recover from his sickness due to overworked himself, yet he continued to work for the sake of better future generations. Even in his death, he even sacrificed his body to trick sima yi in war. There's no anyone who are willing to be concern people to the point of neglecting himself like zhuge liang. He is truly hero for people
I think that one's more of a "what-if" considering. But still no matter the historical outcome, whether Shu conquers/unifies China or not, Zhuge Liang still dies
Dynasty warriors 9 the 1st video on that game was the best to me. I almost cried. I'm shocked really. I really did cry when pang tong died bc he's my favorite.
he got reincarnated as a music manager in modern day japan fun fact: his VA in paripi koumei anime voices sima yi in DW8E, DW9 as well as WO4, the irony
Lol. I love how The lord of his own soldiers dont move out of his way in DW6. Royalty passing through usually wouldnt have to push passed his own underlings XD
One of my favorite all time historical figures in history. I know there are others. Also some that may be more bigger than this man named Zhuge Liang. But he is still my favorite. Fire is one of his tactics that he uses most. He was benevolent and also a strong tactician. One of the 5 generals. That man was legendary.
Shin* SangokuMusou 5 Technically, there has only been 1 SangokuMusou. The original Dynasty Warriors. Every title after that had Shin in front of its name.
Simple: I don't know. XD Am not so extremely expert 100% on three kingom story but if you understand the novel from any three kingdom story of his death, then you could know how does it happen. I think it's just by luck.
