Sun Quan deliver his head so wei get blammed for it, so Sun Quan can say that Cao Cao behind all of this, but Liu Bei know that Cao Cao really treasure his friendship with Guan Yu there's noway Cao Cao stabbing Guan Yu in the back and not in real battle, aslo after Guan Yu died Cao Cao health getting worse and worse and died not long after Guan Yu died
@@gunawanputera6443 No... It was already a duel assault, Guan Yu attacked Wei and Fan Castle and Wu came out of nowhere and they teamed up together to kill Guan Yu. The betrayal is why Shu attacked Wu almost immediately after and lost severely before retreating and forcing a truce between the two. Sun Quan delivered the head to Cao Cao as a token of their partnership but they were already in too deep to shift blame anywhere.
@@sws212 yeah, guan yu already attack fan castle even tho there no order from zhuge liang or liu bei because he too overestimate shu, yes at this time shu probably the strongest of 3 because they have jing and riverland ( jing basicly center point and have many talented soldier, when riverland is fertile land so food plenty there) not mention shu also have the most capable general, wei only play defende because they wanted to train more soldier, resupply food and weapon and maintain their economy after massive defeat at red cliff, when wu it self all of power in power is on grand comander not sun quan that why lu meng slay guan yu even tho sun quan only wanted to capture him and then exchange for jing,
In DW8 Wei side, about half of Wei generals that gang on Guan Yu had died before Guan Yu himself. Pang De had been slained by Guan Yu. Xiahou Yuan had died before this battle. Also Xiahou Dun and Cao Pi didn't joined in this battle. Xu Huang is the only one that should be in this scene.
guan yu and lu bu.... both of them betrayed by their own people, both of them fight till the end.... the difference, lu bu died as a wild beast, guan yu death as honorable man...
If only he honor the alliance, it would be more benefit for a long time for Shu Instead he went out of command just because of "muh precious land for strategies" and drag his army and son to die with him

@@BironBironBiron Wu has never and never meant to honor their alliance either. They've been fighting for Jing province for ages, and they were gonna take it from Shu one way or another. While Guan Yu is too arrogant, things might have went differently was he not betrayed by his captains.
I really hate the voice acting in 9. Feels like every male in the game has the same voice actor. Guo Huai's new voice actor sounds like he's out of breath or constipated. His voice actor from 7-8 did a better job at portraying a man who's literally on the verge of dying than the new guy. Even Lu Bu's voice actor doesn't sound intimidating anymore.
I love the dialogue choices of Guan Yu and his children. The just response of "yes" from his older son knows he knows the reality and retrains his calmness despite you know fully well it hurts him deeply. Screw that. I think DW9 actually proved itself to top their emotion further. yeeesh.
Guan Yu..... His story is the reason that he's my favorite DW character. A person that lived honorably as much as he was strong. There is a reason he is called The God of War.
There was a strike going on so the usual VA's weren't available and they had to take a bunch of no names and unknown VAs to do the voice work for the dub.
Kendall Fields 3 I’ll agree with you but 4 and 5 were definitely better the 9. 9 sounds like they went outside the studio and said you want to make a quick buck.
Kevin Nelson 4 no 5 maybe. 9 only had the problem of having the voice actors record once yet it was still better than most of the series. Also have you heard the emotional moment from Liu Bei when Guan Yu died?
Kendall Fields I heard it and it’s trash the company itself even admitted to going with fresh talent (cheaper talent) because of the voice actor strike I honestly can barely hear 9’s English voice actors I’ll put in Chinese which sounds so much better and this is their first time I believe. I’ll Admit 4 was bad but it’s still better than 9 by a long margin.
The one that was listed as DW5XL wasn't right, that's still just DW5 but on Guan Ping's perspective of the battle, I think Zhang Fei's as well if I remember right

Just an edit: If Liu Bei followed Zhuge Laing and Zhao Yun advices about attacking Wei first, he'll probably win the war of Three Kingdons. That's bc Cao Pi forced the emperor abdicate his throne thus plocaiming himself the emperor. Liu Bei was part of the Royal family of Han dynasty, if he followed his generals advices he'll call for all bannermans in the country to fight for him, under the autority of him being the true heir to the throne, thus making Cao Pi a a traitor and usurper. He'll launch a full escale invasion on Wei alongside Wu. After the victory, Wu would probably surrender to Shu and thus Liu Bei would unify all china and start the Shu Han dynasty.

Dynasty warriors never been acurrate since dw1. Its only based on the characters in the book. Even the book itself is a combination of history, myth and legend.
@@sws212 I mean duh. Obviously, Guan Yu's ghost didn't kill Lu Meng or even Cao Cao in history. What I mean by "original story" is the original novel called "The Romance of Three Kingdoms" by Luo Guanzhong. Since the novel was the one that made this story so popular. (although it's not like it wasn't popular before the novel. Even in the Song dynasty, Emperor was interested in the period that so-called "three kingdoms period")
in DW8 Guan Yu disabels 2 combat units: Son with kick and Guan Ynping because she needs to hold Injured son. they just wantet to be protect. tell me Guan Yu. WTF you in all parts disables son?
DW 9 sounds so awful. They couldn't even pronounce "Sun Wu" correctly. How is that even possible when they have multiple games where they did so correctly? Shameful.
And plus,yeah the inconsistencies of their Hanzi Pronouncation is bugging me as well Ex: Zhou Cang calling "Wu" instead of "oo" Sima Yi either spelt "Sima Ii" or "Sima Yi" by those obviously cheap VA. The spelling of Jiang Wei to Jang Wei tf? Those is some of the example that DW9 VA crew is very cheap.
Different dubbing team. For some dumb fuck reason, they replaced the entire dubbing cast for DW 9. The dude that played Zhao Yun since 4 also got replaced. That’s why the dub sounds like a bunch of voice actor students instead of the guys we were fond of since DW 4.
There were several things that went around, 1 of them was that the old voice actors were on a strike, it could also be a budget thing. Either way indeed the voices are weird

It's so stupid to make wei or wu look noble and master guan humble to them. Id laugh but i wanna kick the creator's butts first. Always fun to play dw, 1 of my lifelong favorite series but im sorry, you need much better writers. Those that understand Bromance, Heaven and Han history. Keep the lgbt stuff in wu not guan xing or anyone historically cool
going to say this take the game play of 8 and mix it with the cut scenes in 7 and we will have the greatest game in the series why didn't they do that why go open world and ax the entire original cast fucking pisses me off
The truth is that Guan Yu was killed by the hands of Sun Quan, but the thing that I was thinking is that I am playing dynasty warriors 5 Xtreme Legends but I am not able to see any cutscenes, why?
Noted. I like these compilations though. It's sad that 9 falls flat to the other installments (save to the first few but its like entertainingly bad but still likeable.)
