DW7 did Wu so well throughout the entire game seemingly. The fire attack cutscene here seems like a nice conclusion and entry into a new era after the deaths of Sun Jian and Sun Ce. Idk its just badass
that plan was genius.Zhou Yu and Huang Gai nearly destroyed Wei single-handedly. ummmmm.yeah.....in the last clip of course the Shu bastards want to steal the glory...how unexpected!!!
Kendall Fields sure thing. And Guan Yu let Cao Cao flee because he had to pay his debt.Whatever you say.The battle of Red Cliffs was Wu's.They made their part against a large fleet and Shu failed to capture an injured Cao Cao.How incompetent.Long Live Wu.Down with Deluded Shuists.
One Guan Yu didn't let Cao Cao flee as that was something made up in the novel. Also Wu was part of the chase yet they couldn't catch Cao Cao either. So you haven't proven your point.
Kendall Fields "part of the novel" this exactly proves my point.DW was based on a Shu-biased novel.Wu already lost troops and led the attack on the fleet.Since there was an alliance , Shu WAS to catch Cao Cao on land since infantry is their forte and their role revolved around that.My point is that DW undermines the achievement of Wu in Chi Bi because it is based on a novel that deified Shu officers.Ergo, Guan Yu STILL let Cao Cao flee because we talk about the game which is the visualisation of the novel. If you want to talk about history, then the role of Shu in this battle becomes all the more dull if not null altogether.I rest my case.
The absolute fucking balls of Guan Yu, Zhao Yun, and Zhang Fei just strolling up through Wu's lines and slamming their single banner down in front of Zhou Yu was one of the (few) great parts of DW9.
It's really sad how they are giving him less and less role each game before he had many conversations with sun Quan now somehow Cheng pu replaced him yikes 😬
