I wish they made Sun Jian younger since he and Cao Cao are the same age. Doesn't make sense that he looks way older than Cao Cao during the early stages of the game lol. Still hyped for this game tho. #DWFanSince1997
Alright so most retain their 9 designs with a few given updated designs. Sun Shang abd couple others i guess get conpletely new designs and young cao cao now looks even more nobunaga-ish lol
The unfairness of why some characters retain their DW9 outfit (or barely changed DW9 outfi) while some of them got an entirely new skin... sometimes 2 entirely new skins. Also they need to stop making Sun Jian look 50, he died at 36.

Well this is just a spin off game and mainly experimental. They are trying to see what works and what doesn't so hopefully after this we will get a proper dynasty warriors 10 with full roster and everything that makes origins great
I think it's strange that everyone looks younger except Sun Jian, who looks much older. He was only around 35-36 when he was killed. I like his new long mane though.
@@rezaruki3912 He looks better for sure. I don't know if it was a bad picture, but Pang Tong didn't look good. Everyone one else looked either better or close to the same as they did in DW9.

Iam really liking all these new character designs (iam a Zhao Yun fan so seeing his DW7 hairstyle again with his similar looking DW9 armor and the fact that he is one of 9 playable companions made me really happy)
Young versions looking kinda tough to I like that they didn't do what they usually do going over the top with the younger styles making everyone look like some boy band 😂 not that I hated it but still
Why does Sun Jian look so old when he actually dies aged 35? Also, he's the exact same age as Cao Cao. If we can have a young looking Cao Cao, then Sun Jian should also look equally young.
Questioning the same thing. It's good that we have young Cao Cao and the 3 brothers since it's fitting for the time of Yellow turban and Dong Zhuo campaign. But old Sun Jian is just weird.
My first thought was that 10 characters is really bad. But then I thought and there's quite a few Musou with very few characters and I enjoyed them. So I don't mind that much.
I heard there's an aging system in this DW origins? If that's true then, I wouldn't be so confused seeing Liu Bei is so young in the pict since he was only 23 yo when yellow turban rebellion broke out. But dang, man! Liu Bei looks so good. Now, I'm curious what Zhuge Liang will looks like 😂
NGL, this had me starting to tear up a bit especially when young Zhang Fei & Liu Bei were shown. I have a feeling we're going to see those who along with Gyan Yu meet under the peach tree.
Not appearing. Just like the title said, it's origins, means it's the early period of three kingdom. It will only reach Battle of Chi Bi (because Zhou Yu was there, so I assume it reach that battle)

This feels like they took inspiration from DW4 but made it better 👀 But if what i heard was true that you can only play 9 characters?? This isn't much of a Dynasty Warriors game. That's a major gut punch smh
I ain’t happy about it either, they pulled this stunt with SW5 too. What made SW5 worse is the amount of clones too. DW8 is the best modern DW so I’ll probably just stick to that one, lots of characters, covers the whole time period and not just to Chi Bi.
Seems like it won't reach the end of DW period as usual. Just like the title said, it's the origins period, which means it will only reach Battle of Chi Bi. All characters past Battle of Chi Bi like Meng Huo, Jian Wei, Sima Yi won't appear.
