ALSO!!! Motion Raceworks Steam Vent Kit for LSA. Seriously it may not be a power mod but it will help the motor live, have to remove the heads and pop the back caps out but venting the steam from all 4 corners of the heads really helps.

Possibly a cheaper option and maybe better for the crank pulley is the Dayco powerbond damper they make one that's camaro spacing 10% over drive and 8 rib had one on my 5th gen when I had a 2.3 Maggie and worked great Just remember I had it sitting on my shelf part # PBO81190SC10

Excellent suggestions and I looked at 1 of those. Since I already have a 10% od Dsx 8 rib pulley I’ll just buy the ati damper and it’ll be the same. I think I’ll be doing this performance update 6 months from now just so I can enjoy the ride and accomplish a couple cosmetics mods I have lined up. These are the steps I’m going to take. New 5”, 103 tb, 10% od damper and I just started considering a stock ZL1 tc instead of a circle D unit.

Yes with a stg 2 cam you can still run stock and have good drivability without the car trying to surge forward at stops. Think is I guess I can improve some if I did go with a stall like 3200-3600 so a further mod is to go w a Circle D tc

Did you dyno the car on E85 or is this pump gas only

It was on e85. Camaro5 says the autos were really only 315-345 hp to the wheels. All of this got me to 600 but I was expecting or thought I would of been closer to 650 though

@@mr2hard2see you need a 5 inch Intake and 2.45 upper or a 10 percent overdrive. Should get u to about 640 but that tune seems conservative though

@@marcus8156 I’m already in motion on plotting some other mods. I have a Dsx 10% overdrive pulley on my shelf. It’ll need a ati damper though that I need to purchase. As of now I think I’ll do the same 5” intake my ZL1 friend has too. Right now I know my cai/tb chocking my air flow.

@@mr2hard2see Yes most definitely, and look to get a 3in exhaust if you dont already have one and a force induction lid spacer to increase the supercharger volume and cooling. Easy 20 to 25 gain there. I have the same setup as you with all the mods I listed and I hit 660 and 595

I really wanted to be 650 but I’m in the 600’s now at least. I’m actually not true ls3 although I made a statement about it. The ls3 has higher compression so I assume that’s why my numbers must be a tab bit lower. It could also be the dyno and or my tuner. Who knows. Do you know any l99 guys with Lsa setup and numbers?

I feel like you should be at least around 650, especially with E85 in there, but also the timing is set really low

Yep it’s conservative. I’m on camaro5 asking some questions now. I have an 10% od pulley I’ll need to install. Then I’ll probably look at tb upgrade to 5” intake and perhaps 3” exhaust

@@mr2hard2see yea, matt went a little too conservative on that tune honestly, these arent the highest compression motors but they can do more that 15 degrees of timing
