@slowmoe1686 At a comic convention in the direct-to-video Scooby Doo movie Mask of the Blue Falcon, a lot of people are dressed like Hanna-Barbera characters, including someone dressed like Tinker AND Speed Buggy!
I loved the lore Mystery Incorporated made for Blue Falcon & Dynomutt, years ago. For those who don't remember; in MI, Blue Falcon was originally a security guard who had a faithful dog working alongside him. But something happened during a break-in that resulted in the dog suffering terrible injuries. With the aid of Quest Industries (as in JOHNNY Quest,) the dog was given robotic enhancements and became Dynomut: The Dog Wonder
@@SilverScribe85 A security guard gets blown up by Dr. Claw. A brilliant female scientist rebuilds him as Inspector Gadget. (But no one calls him that. Most people call him "John". His niece (whose hair is the wrong color) calls him "Uncle John". See what I mean about it being terrible?)
To Mitch Fletcher; Gary Owens passed away last year due to Diabetes. No kidding. I loved his thunderous, wonderous voice too. From cartoons; Powdered Toast Man/Roger Ramjet/Space Ghost etc. To prime time; the announcer on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. And many other TV voice-overs. An all-time great talent!!
@markrushing231 Gary Owens was the race announcer in The Love Bug. ("The little car wins first...AND third place!") Also: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xwPqTuanjAk.html
@Rlotpir1972 It was originally an hourlong show. But it was cut up for syndication (and not put back together properly for DVD release). Here's an attempt to recreate the original opening with an audio recording of one of the original Saturday morning broadcasts combined with old home movie footage: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oG8uJGZTRMw.html
@@rosaaburto2877 Maybe, I thought of having both versions in the reboot, either from different times they meet each other or the Scoob version is a complete upgrade from the classic.
I second that motion. Btw, did you know that Frank Welker also worked as the voice of Wonderbug on the Krofft Supershow as well as Fangface and Barney Rubble(since the passing of the other man of 1,000 voices, Mel Blanc [1911-1989]) in several commericals for Pebbles cereal as well as the last few Flintsone tv specials in the early 1990s? Yep, Frank is the man these days!
Actually, it's: Flashing through the sky, he's a go-go guy Stronger than a train with a so-so brain Uh, you talking 'bout me Blue Falcon? Gosh... He's fearless, scareless, little too careless Dynomutt! He's a go-go dog person That's me, Dog Wonder! *laughs* He's fearless, scareless, little too careless Dynomutt! He's a go-go dog person That's me, Dog wWnder! *laughs*
We need a *REAL* Blue Falcon show where he’s not a Co-Star, but the *MAIN* character. We also need a *REAL* Blue Falcon movie, not one where he’s a Side Character for The Scooby-Doo Gang or The Scooby-Doo Gang helping *B.F.* out, I mean him being *THE MAIN CHARACTER* ; oh, and we also need *MR. HYDE* as The *MAIN VILLAIN*
Damn, I loved watching this show...and hell, I went nuts when they had an episode of "Dexter's Laboratory" when Blue Falcon and DynoMutt show up. I still wonder when we'll get a feature film...
Yes originally this series and season one of the Scooby Doo Show was an hour long show, that aired on ABC. However this was after both shows were split.
@@stephenholloway6893 I don't understand why this happened since both segments were owned by Hanna-Barbera/Taft at the time. The only reason I can think of is that they wanted everything to be half hours for syndication. (I remember The New Scooby Doo Movies being split into two parts for syndication.) The Dynomutt segments may not have come out of the vaults again until the USA Network Cartoon Express in 1983 or 1984.
@bobbybickert Most likely that's exactly what happened similar to the Scooby and Scrappy shorts a few years later after Richie Rich was moved to an different package show type format and The Puppy's New Adventures were also removed from that hour long block for syndication.
@@stephenholloway6893 I always assumed that The Richie Rich/Scooby Doo Show got cut up because the Richie Rich segments were owned by Harvey Comics. But apparently WB owns the whole show. (Ditto the Hanna-Barbera shows with Casper. Also the Hanna-Barbera and Filmation adaptations of Archie Comics characters belong to WB and whoever owns (some of) the Filmation library now, not Archie Comics.)

After listening to it a couple of times - "a little too careless" is what it sounds like. I'm not arguing nor quibbling, am jut stating what I heard. I definitely heard "little too careless" though.
I would love for this cartoon to come back maybe Dyno Mutt and Blue Falcon could team up with other characters like Hong Kong phooey, Scooby Doo, Freakazoid etc.
@PeterGriffin11 The Blue Falcon and Dynomutt were in an episode of the recent TV series Scooby Doo and Guess Who?, which is currently airing on Cartoon Network.
Dynomutt was an super Devo humor Robotic Dog Superhero friend of the Blue-Falcon! It was inspired to created the cartoons of Inspector Gadget as DiC's true story has it! SInce Japanese Astro-Boy!
Dynomutt, a machine created to resemble a clumsy canine with a goofy personality and a "Barney the Dinosaur" like voice. Although not very intelligent compared to other robotic superheroes, he is definitely superior to ordinary human beings as well as ordinary dogs. Sometimes I find it strange that he serves a master who's entirely human.
@@NeluThat70sKid That was the type of characters Joe Ruby and Ken Spears created. Incidentally, this was one of two characters they created in 1976 (the other was Jabberjaw). The very last character they created before leaving Hann-Barbera was Captain Caveman in '77. Other characters they went on to create that were just as zany were Fangface, Mighty Man and Yukk, and Dingbat.
@@jeffgantt4323 That IS rather interesting, but I'm sorry, those latter four that Ruby-Spears had created through their own cartoon studio, were definitely NO ANIMANIACS, FAR FROM IT. Even though a lot of people will beg to differ when I say this, but Animaniacs and Dynomutt were sheer comedic genius, hands down.
@@NeluThat70sKid I didn't mean to imply that they were. I was referring to Ruby Spears competing with themselves. Each year they created characters kookier than the ones before. They were well off the beaten path (Turbo Teen).
@@jeffgantt4323 Joe Ruby and Ken Spears also created Wonderbug (and his alter ego Schlepcar) and ElectraWoman and DynaGirl (for Sid and Marty Krofft) in 1976.
Would that be Robin #1 (Dick Grayson), #2 (Jason Todd), #3 (Tim Drake), or the one in The Dark Knight (Carrie Kelly)? The one in Brave and the Bold that made return appearances? The one that has his own show in Teen Titans or in Young Justice? Or perhaps you want the new comics, now working on Robin #4 (Damian Wayne)? Sidekicks are needed.
Despite Disliking His Voice Because He Is Not Voiced By Any Of The American Actors Who Started Their Acting Careers And Debuts As Teenagers Like Dan Castellaneta, Don LaFontaine, Hank Azalea, Harry Shearer Or Kevin Conroy, Dynomutt The Robotic Teenage Dog Wonder Will Always Be My Favorite Hanna Barbara Superhero Who Is A Better Main Character And Mighty Superstar Than That Dorkiest And Whipiest Dog Scooby Doo.
you know as a kid you think this is a great amazing show....and now i see and am like...."how did i watch this show" haha it brings back good memories though haha
