It's lovely to see someone put so much money and love into a Dyson DC04, and it's been a while since I've done a full refurb on one too. She has a mis-matched part now, just like all good DC04's, but let's have a look and see how it turned out!

I quite like the new mutant look 😂. I have recently inherited a huge amount of brand new Dyson spare from the local repair shop that closed down, certainly more spares than I will ever need please let me know if you want a large box of freebies.

This was the best Dyson made Followed by the dc07 and dc14 I still haven’t sorted my 04 out 😂

Another great repair Sir. How about you make an old dyson out of completely random spares you have regardless of colour and charity it off, and donate to a small animal rescue in memory of your beloved pet? The Dyson could be completely random in colour, and instead of calling out a DeStijl model, call it "DaBeko" 😊

A brilliant job done there Sam. You have given it many more years of life. After your DC04 before video I fished my identical DCO4 out and have been using it ever since. I think they are good machines. I had been using my DC14 for many years previously. A lovely video.

Nice bit of resto work. It will go on for a few more years for the customer now Sam. Dc04s are so venerable.

1:27 that is from a dc 14. i got the deal of a lifetime on facebook, a dc19 dc24 and... dc40 all for 20 pounds i was expecting the dc24 to be buggered but no it was fine
