0:47 When I was little I wanted to use my De Stijl DC01! I never did until I was about 6 or 7. When I was 8 I used to vacuum the entire 1st floor with my DC01 De Stijl! It used to work back then! Nice memories!
I've been refurbishing and fixing Dyson's a while now. DC04 is by far the best Vacuum you can get. I now have one for upstairs, we already had a DC33 which is decent. Get a DC04 while you still can.
The DC04 is great isn’t it! What do you think of the DC14? I prefer those due to the more ergonomic wand and hose design along with a more hygienic emptying bin and better hard floor pickup
@@parwaz7861 Sorry for late response dude my RU-vid never notifies me anymore lol. Not had a lot of experience with the DC14 but I'm moving to my own place soon, I'm bringing the 04 with me and I've been debating on getting a DC14 as well for the downstairs. But from what I hear the 14's are good. I think all the original uprights from the 04's to 07's, 14's and 33's are really good. Much better than them gimmicky ball ones or worse the cordless ones that die on you before you finished vacuuming.
@@sotyfan73 Deffo get a DC14 for downstairs, the wand and hose is a much nicer design, they are more robust than a DC04, they have better suction and work better on hard floors, have stiffer bristles and the emptying is more hygienic The DC27 is decent too but taking one of them apart is terrible, not fun at all

I always wondered why it took them ages to introduce the bin flap. Perhaps maybe due to the design of the Dual Cyclone, it would be difficult emptying?
@@RJA_World When you put the DC01 and the Small Ball together, you can tell it has evolved just by looking at it. I must say, Dyson have progressed ever since the release of the DC01 back in 1993.
Do you know if it's safe to wash the main cone and shroud? I'm worried it's not gonna dry properly. I took the 2 screws out where the pre filter sits and pulled the cone out then washed the whole cone and shroud with coldish water and washing up liquid. Is this gonna be okay if I leave it to air dry?
