The DC20 I have had for far too long is finally done, refurbished and looking MUCH better! But, does it perform any better? Let me show you how it came out!
The refurbishment thread on this very machine is finally written, nearly 2 years on from this video! manchestervacs.co.uk/DysonForum/index.php/topic,4444.msg34342/topicseen.html#msg34342
Great video! I refurbished a Dc20 last Saturday. It was a light gold colour on the cyclone. Sold it for £40 with the (non-turbine) floor head & 3 attachment push in tools on the back. The internal hose pipe on the floor heads tend to rip and can't be bought any where!!!!! Unlike the upright models. It annoying as I had to buy the whole head again. Haha
That end shot of the vac looks like a pile of scrap parts like in my spare parts boxes 🤣🤣🤣. Not very aesthetically pleasing to look at, BUT! you did an awesome job of sorting it out and making it look like new xxxx
Gota Luv eem, ......... in fairness though, to design a machine with 2 brush rolls, floor tool, wand hose etc. that does actually achieve it's job to a reasonable standard relatively reliably, that has lasted & does compact down to a fairly small size ? i find it hard to dislike something that does exactly what it says on the tin.
