Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

I have been reading articles, looking at video reviews and talking to a lot of people on what is the best vacuum cleaner to get. So I am confused on what I need to get. Thanks for this review, it somewhat helps me on what to purchase

I have the dyson dc24 and dc14 and dc25 and dyson v7 animal vaccums and I love the dyson dc24 animal the best it has more suction than most vaccums and is so light and fun to use

Give the DC33 a bit more credit. It does a great job on pet hair with the stair tool also, because of the 2 lint strips. It cleans carpets very well and it's durable and lightweight.

*Overall 5 stars as it's exactly what we wanted,🧼 **allabout.wiki/Dyson-Upright** in terms of cleaning power. Suction is as good as all the reviews state. When we first got it, I first vacuumed with the existing vacuum and then with this, the additional fine dirt that was in the Dyson was gross and convinced me we needed this. We have medium length carpet and a terrier - no issues, I do imagine plush carpets would not work well with this. Also a little too powerful for most bathroom rugs. Great for area **rugs.One** con is the hose, it's great for reaching far away places (ceiling), but is frustrating and hard to use if you're within arm's distance (think couch and floorboards). This is due to the design of the hose having this long metal rod for extension. Also, I haven't figured out how to get the hose back together quickly as it's supposed to nest into the base of the vacuum. This piece might just be user error though.Canister is just like all others, still have to take out the middle insert to get all the dirt out. I often make a mess around the trash as I'm trying to empty it, but the suction picks that right back up.*

the dc 25 comes in animal version too. you should compare dc 41 and dc 25 now with both in animal . i really see no disadvantage in 25 now , with the turbo brush available now i am not sure how long dc25 has came in animal ,i just got 2012 on black friday .

As a proud member of the Kirby family, I was implying that the Dyson wouldn't stand a chance. By the way, the Kirby, made of aircraft aluminum, is also superior in construction quality.

These Dyson vacuums are expensive cleaning devices to maintain. I hope that my dad could teach me how to clean out the filters.

I own a DC 41, used it twice. It's junk. It has a hard time picking up any thing. I gave it to my son. Now he's cussing it. Me, I got a used made in America Royal Metal and had it refurbished, New brush roller, Belt and had it cleaned and polished. It is amazing and it cost less than a DC 41. Made in the 70's and kicks every vacuums but made now days. Get one, before they are all gone.

Miele $250 cylinder & Henry $160 are better, WHICH tested everything from DYSON too super pricey Kirby for pet hairs & the much Cheaper Miele models beat the Dyson, why? because despite what any bagless manufacturer says if air is sucked in it has to come back out via a filter, bagged cleaners get a new clean filter when the bag is changed. Uprights use lots of energy to power the brushes Cylinders don't so have more suction for the same wattage and its the suck that moves the muck

I have a dyson dc24 red

I prefer the look of the 25 vs the new 41, 65 and cinetic. I like the look of the full ball better and the ubend tubes housing around the ball itself. it makes it look more high tech and sporty to me. I personally think the new style balls should be for the smaller versions like the 24 and 50. I wish the bigger balls would have stayed more true go the 25 model. ps. the only thing that makes the purple 41 in this video is the fact that it has a turbine tool. that tool is. not new and that tool was available on the 25 model and others. to say the 41 was better for cleaning pet hair is misleading and not exactly true if you don't plan on using the tool. the vacs are the same per respected model with the only choice being the colour.

DC28 Animal lasted as long as a snowball in HELL. Used 3 times in a year (no one lived in the house) and it lost half of it's suction. 3 major components went bad, ONE was NO LONGER AVAILABLE! wtf? Warranty was worthless. NEVER AGAIN... NEVER!!!

The DC24 may have the least suction out of all off the other Dysons, but it has enough suction to hold up two VHS tapes literally.

GREAT TECHNOLOGY WITHOUT THE QUALITY! Got a DC25 not even 6 months old and already in the shop. No wonder they come with a 5 year warranty! I have been reading the reviews and approx 1/3 of their products are lemons. They will eventually put themselves out of business. It is our responsiblity to let all consumers know that these vacuums are not worth the money! Had better luck with a 100.00 Hoover!.

The dc 25 has an animal model

DC24 Frustrating. Not enough suction even for a very clean small home with no pets. Problems with the beater working.

OMG!! Look how the grooves in the ball are digging into the carpet. Plus, the 2 rollers on each side of the head are making lines too. How ugly is this? Are you kidding me!!!!!! WOW!!

oreck have much better suction and pick up alot better than dysons. dyson are just marketed better and better promoted to the general public plus they look alot better than the oreck as the orecks are big clumsy stupid looking old fashioned but if you want a vaccum with better suction then the oreck is for you if your not looking for looks or to be one of these people " i have a dyson" if you want to be one of the people with a nice looking vaccum and to be one of these " i have a dyson" then the dyson is for you .

Umm . . Dyson vacuum cleaners are one of the most overrated products of all time. Well done to the inventor for making a fortune out of re-creating a Victorian vacuum cleaner! Super heavy, super awkward to use and best of all . . no bag!! Yes, you have to empty the dirt yourself, which is one of the grossest, most allergy inducing jobs ever. The ads might make that look easy, but in reality the fine dust gets stuck everywhere, so I would recommend wearing a face mask whilst you attempt to clear it out . . I inherited mine and was so glad to get rid of it and buy a neat, super powerful, cylinder Hoover instead. Oh, I almost forgot - just like in the Victorian age, a vacuum cleaner was an expensive luxury, so Mr Dyson has also made sure to imitate that as well - most Dyson's are at least double if not triple the price of other models. So not worth it. Don't get conned.Save your money and buy a modern cleaner instead.
