I have been trying to work on my vacuum sucker for over a year. I had it and I was on line looking for another vacuum. Lord n behold you video popped on my screen. Hi just watched this on my laptop where I’m not signed into YT, and looked for your video on my phone to be able to say THANK YOU! I knew my husband jacked up my dyson when vacuuming his car, but I didn’t know what it was. So I was really bummed out when the hose wasn’t suctioning properly. And boom, thanks to your video, I was able to clean out all those compartments and found out there was some plastic lodged inside the straight part of hose attachment. Phew! No longer giving the hubby the side-eye, and I feel empowered to be able to troubleshoot my beloved vacuum. So again, THANK YOU!! ❤🙏❤️

I haven't been able to use my dyson for 4 years, I thought about taking it to get fixed, all it was a clog at the floor part and it was too easy to remove and clean, not a bunch of screws etc just one red clip and off it came. I feel dyson knew we would try to vaccum things too large for the vaccum and made it easy for us to clean the various filters. Thank you so much for this video.

Dude, One of the best videos I’ve seen. To the point with the correct warnings. I’ve always done my own vac repair but I stared at this one for 10 minutes trying to find the disconnects and the access to the roller brush (I have the purple monster). Oh my gosh! Thank you so much. This was so easy and saved me a trip to the repair shop as well as money! FYI I had a small piece of fabric at the base of the hose, so I had to squeeze the little red tab at the base of the hose below the oval that you flipped up. The hose pulled out and I was able to remove the fabric! Thank you so much again!!

Here's another big THANK YOU! Was in the process of cleaning before moving when mine clogged. Turned out to be straight pins from the sewing machine. I was about to throw the Dyson away until I found this video.

Can confirm. I had a huge chunk between the head and the ball. As soon as I took that out and put it back together, I still had an issue. I took the filter off the ball and I could see a very tiny twig that was propping open the hose connection inside the ball compartment. I took that out, removed a Q-tip that came loose from the first cleanout, and now it's like the vacuum when we first bought it! The suction was so powerful, it was moving our rug.

Nearly had a heart attack when I plugged in my beautiful expensive Dyson and got ZERO SUCTION!! No warning! I managed to get rid of some carpet fibres that had wound around the brush and that was last week, and I washed the canister and the filter good to go .... and today, NO SUCTION! I was sure I broke something, but with this video .... I am praying this is the problem. Considering what that thing can suck up out of a "clean" carpet, I can only imagine what I am gonna find in that ball part .... ugh!! Praying to the Dyson gods that I can do this myself!! Thank you for the simple explanation hopefully even I can follow! Watch this space ....!!!!!

I cut away a ton of hair from the roller..I mean it was thick with 32 inches of my dark hair...I could make toupees for the entire town out of what I cut away. I would also recommend checking the internal hose if you do this video and still have suction issues. I have the Dyson multi floor 2 and all you need is a Phillips to remove the screw and push down to disengage the hose.

Thank you! There was a clog behind the little flap under the canister. It included a Lego fire piece! It works now! We were literally about to buy a new vacuum!
