@@GetABeachHouse I observed partial tornadogenesis and rotating supercells today, in Denmark of all places! The thunder is deep and bassy like a chorus of naval artillery. I just had to come back again, you know tornado season is in in europe, right? ESWD is full of little inverted red triangles all over Poland and the baltic states. I'm planning some modular synth work to capture the "tornadic mood" and to go chasing shrooms and funnel clouds all afternoon when I am done with my session. This is my favourite time of the year, extreme weather and lovely fungal bloom. I'll email you about my music and such! Its just hard to return emptyhanded to a friend like you, quality over quantity!

Germany is on top of the global music scene, right now. Let's remember, it was Einstürzende Neubauten who turned "industrial" into a music phenomenon, from their performance art, like; blowing up car's, grinding metal, and slamming metal junk into other metal junk -- that's just pure genius, to me. So, "Industrial music", is Germany's brainchild; but, as far as, I'm concerned nobody is really competing against them -- right now. There is some debate, still, over France (still, the "Techo" masters), Italy, and our Nordic friends sprinkled, throughout all of Scandinavia. Great Britain, even though, I love them as a country, they're not doing much; but, I always keep an eye on -- Scotland. And yes, I know there's one jackass out there who's going to say, "Scotland is apart of Great Britain", go and discuss it with the Scottish National Party and Scottish Parliament, they deserve independence. Right now the United States is completely "out of the music game". They're to busy listening to K-pop, and recycling their R&B, Rap, and Hip-Hop to death. But, hope remains with their youth, who are much more globalist, in thinking, and they're into Dream-pop and Shoegaze -- so, all hope is not lost on that generation.

Thanks for the nice words (as a German), but let me highlight that the majority of artists featured in this very mix are, indeed, French. Not to condratict anything you have written, but just to acknowledge the recent industrial/hardcore/rave scene in France, which is speerheading IMO.

I already knew which artists were French -- To me this is just a statement of fact and some people, seem to be competitive, or, have even become political over your amazing mix. "Techno", to me, isn't something I regularly search for unless it's really, really great, like this -- so, a big Thank you... !!! Right now, I'm loving KAS:ST with, "Hell on Earth" is just outstanding. France is on fire with great music; especially, now that they're into making "mini-movies" with each song.
