Low-key, V9 being after V8 time wise would make sense. The incredimen in V8 are very subdued colorwise, and are very robotic and almost unemotional. We see at the end of v8, they were freed from the dim darkness and the inability to represent themselves. In v9, they are very colorful, almost excited looking. Theres a possibility these guys are just the v9 cast but enjoying their lives after dystopia lol.
The fact that these 2 versions are the complete opposites, Dystopia sounds were made with A program (sometimes) Wekiddy sounds more acapella (except for Mog, arashi,Arcade machine and 8 bit)
my theory is that v9 is the origin of the v8 incredimans, and that they some how got turned into these robots we see in v8. however this theory may be wrong because of the furby, pixelated incrediman, and the emoji incrediman
Dystopia is a game because of D. Invaders. (The arcade machine) The "D" can represent Dystopia. Also D. Invaders have Dystopia bonus 2 in it so probably dystopia is a game.
Dystopia and Wekiddy are the opposite Dystopia is just robots while a guy saves everyone by going into the pyramid and then they gained freedom and acted like they were in the 90s(Wekiddy)

Guys after dystopia came there is a storyline remember the last cutscene in dystopia we had the first incrediman in v1 and i think the new v9 is not after dystopia it's before remember the rapper lyrics back in the 89 so yeah that's what i think
Wekiddy after Dystopia kinda of makes sense like what if after beat 1 alpha after he went into the beam they rebuilt civilization in a more controlled matter and are going back in a 90’s style
