🚨 La Serena Monumental Lighthouse: it was built between 1950 and 1951. It is located on Avenida del Mar in the city of La Serena. The structure is characterized by being the symbol of public recognition of the city, being one of the most representative and popular tourist places in the area. Elqui River Wetland: located in the commune of La Serena, it has an approximate area of 492.8 hectares that extend from the town of Altovalsol to the mouth that connects with the Pacific. 161 species of vertebrate fauna coexist there, of which 139 correspond to resident and migratory birds, in addition to the native flora of the place. 💣 Fort Lambert: also known as Fort Coquimbo, is a fortification located on the Castillo del Carmen hill.
