***** Was it actually a cameo, or was it a video with a bunch of rappers partying?, cus that don't count as a cameo, if they all show up at a house and record a video. That's just a hip-hop party/ for a video.
I respect this dude. Over the course of his rap career, he stayed underground, figuratively speaking. Although he was literally underground in the music video to compliment the fact that he never went mainstream. "I ain't gotta sell my soul" -E40
Imagine having so much lack of music taste music knowledge rap knowledge human knowledge artist knowledge calling this guy his number 1 respected rapper.. 💀
This has to be one of the top 5 or 3 videos this year. It actually fits the theme of the song. He's asking questions and a slew of people are answering him. E-40 made a classic with this one. Sad to say this video won't win any awards because we all know how the industry works smh.
The line "star-wars? Nope. Yoda? Yup!" Is a multilayered thought. E-40 distances himself from mainstream and popular culture and takes his own individual approach, yet he acknowledges and embraces Yoda. This is likely because of Yodas deep wisdom and unorthodox ways of thinking. The contradiction between disliking Star-wars, yet embracing Yoda is an interesting insight to Social philosophy. E-40 is telling the audience that he is not like most people, he makes his own decisions and does not fall into any subjective categories. He could be seen as a pragmatic man; taking distance from superficial activities and thought processes such as star-wars, but wanting to embrace the nuances of life in a similar manner to Yoda. As displayed earlier in the song with the line "You still sell dope? (Nope) Now you cleaner than a bar of Dove soap? (Yup)" E-40 Takes distance from his peers who are still on the street involved in the illegal sale of narcotics. E-40 recognizes that even though this is seen as a respected activity within his group, he takes his own unconventional approach to making money and finds success in doing so. Overall E-40 is a deeply complex man with many intrinsic values that he shares to us with clever rhymes and word play
Drizzo Man Already, 40 been in the game goin strong for a longtime....I still bump that Top of line wine Carlos Rossi and everything else 40 on.... Alot of mothafuckaz tried to diss his style of spittin wit no success, he stayed true to his shit and showed them haters they couldn't stop his unique flow... 40 is tight and ain't gon never cease to be...
Someone told me this song was terrible and made me listen to it. This song is actually brilliant.. It brings together some of the most influential people in the hip hop community for a upbeat and fun message. If this doesn't win anything at the BET awards, then that says everything you need to know about the hip hop community and what its been manipulated into.

He was part of Potna Deuce and Latino Velvet (with Jay Tee of N2Deep fame) before relocating to Houston in the early 2000's.
E40, B Legit and D Shot are big niggas. It runs in they blood so no work out needed, plus E40 got a gym that cost more than the gym you spend money on. hahaha
