A new Tier 8 German heavy tank, the E 75 TS, has been released. Its peculiarity is that it embodies the power of three German TTs. It sounds interesting, but what happened in practice, what kind of gameplay it has, performance characteristics and whether it deserves a place in the Hangar will be discussed further.
The E 75 TS received a 105 mm gun with an alpha strike of 360 units and armor penetration with a base (armor-piercing) projectile of 227 mm. The reload time is 10.83 seconds, which allows you to fire about 5.54 shots per minute. The aiming time is 2.6 and the classic good German accuracy is 0.36, and the vertical guidance angles are -8...+15°. Taking into account all the above parameters, the average damage per minute is 1944 units.
As a special projectile - a sub-caliber with 282 mm armor penetration. The ammunition load consists of 42 shells.
In terms of the overall characteristics of the gun, it does not stand out in any way, but at the same time it is one of the most stable in comparison with other heavy tanks of tier 8.
VITALITY
The reserve of strength points is one of the largest - 1500 units. Here comes the most interesting part: the E 75 TS armor includes 3 German tanks:
level 8 upgradeable Tiger II;
pumpable E 75 level 9;
premium tank Löwe level 8.
The hull layout of the E 75 TS is from the classic “Royal Tiger”, which is improved due to the armor from the E 75. The nominal frontal armor is 120 mm, but due to the excellent angles of inclination, you can expect to get about 280 mm VLD, which will allow you to confidently tank your classmates , if you first hide the impressively sized NLD. The stern and sides are 80 mm each, while the latter are reinforced with screens, but they lack any rational angles of inclination of the armor, so in a level position they will always be penetrated.
The round turret of the E 75 TS is borrowed from Löwe. In the frontal projection, the armor thickness is 230 mm, while most of the space is occupied by the gun mantlet, so it will be possible to catch ricochets from it. I'm pleased with the small size of the commander's cupola; aiming it won't be easy. At the same time, at the slightest turn, the weak armor on the sides of 120 mm is exposed to the enemy, and absolutely anyone can penetrate there.
The mass of the tank is 80 tons, which, with a specific power of 16 hp/t, allows it to reach a maximum speed of 45 km/h forward and 18 km/h back, but it will pick it up vigorously. The chassis traverse speed is 26°, so maneuverability will be mediocre, but still better than other premium German counterparts, among which the E 75 TS also stands out for its lower visibility. The visibility is good - 390 meters, and the communication range is 740 meters.
