In this video I give my take on the Wallke H6 Ebike after commuting on it for 6 months and over 1000 miles. I still dig it but this bike has its limitations. I finally added BMX bars and got a bigger chainring with mixed results.
Stay tuned for more fun stuff! I've been using the Xnito Helmet for a while now and will be doing an update soon. Spoiler...I really like it! Will be doing more content on the H6 and New X3 too. Cheers and Thanks for watching!

The BMX handle bars give the H6 a much better "look" than the goosneck folders. Nice upgrade! I have over 450 miles on my X3-Pro now. While I've not ridden any trails with it, we still have plenty of pot hole infested dirt roads around here, so my suspension gets a work out at times. At 80+ pounds of bike, I feel like it's forgiving, but still lets you known it when you encounter a harder than normal hit! Could also be the 30psi I have in the tires. I am really looking forward to your take on the larger sprocket. My biggest "wish" is for an extra gear or two. When going downhill around my area, its no problem to hit 40+ mph, and I find above around 38 mph, I can't pedal fast enough in 8th gear to keep up with speed. While 40mph is kinda fast enough, I'd love to see it hit 50, just to say I did it! Thanks again, and I look forward to the next review!

Hi William! That higher psi definitely helps for higher speed. I run my X3 in the 17lb range for a softer ride. It still hits 33 mph on flat ground. Love that bike. The larger chainring on the H6 isn’t great because of the distance between the ring and rear cassette thanks to the rear battery. So, fewer teeth on the cassette is going to be needed instead of a larger chainring. I’ll have to modify a cassette tool to get around the motor cable. The X3, on the other hand, has a “normal” chain length so a larger chainring should work good on it. I’ll stick one on there and make a video . The one I got is 60 tooth and was under $30. I wouldn’t go bigger than that 60 because it would bottom out when folded. Cheers!

I pulled them off my racing bike. You can use pretty much any bars. I'd go for taller ones. 9 inches plus. Here's a video I made to explain it for another subscriber. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--Hf2HVgf54s.html You can go to DavidBrandNew.com and order the whole kit bars and all.

I have a coupe. 2015 Lexus rc350. Do you think there will be any issues getting it in the trunk?
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
I looked at some images of your trunk and am skeptical. It would be tight and very awkward. You also risk damaging the plastics and seals on your trunk. It could be done, but you’d probably hate doing it. Sorry bro.

Added one for my h3 as well. Love the bike. For some reason my mileage reset to zero which sucks but I must have 250 miles on it. It rocks

Hello I’m purchasing one of these and I like what you have done with your handlebars, I was wondering if you could send me exactly what I need to do the same if you still have part # s that would help me out.

Hi. I made you a quick video with a closer look. Any BMX handlebars and clamp will do. Just need to get a "steering bar extender". That'll depend on the height of the bars you get, how high you want them to sit and your budget. All goes together with allen wrenches. If you want a foldable option check out DavidBrandNew.com. He sells whole kits, bars and all.

Thanks for your posts on the H6. I'm real close to pulling the trigger on an H6 ST. Definitely going with a set of Tannus Armor and I guess a tube size/upgrade. Hope you don't mind a few questions. Is a front cargo rack available? Noticed the brake pads are $50/set. How long do they last? I live in the Buffalo NY area. No goat heads but we can have chaotic weather. Glad to see how easy it is to put studs on ebike tires. Do you recommend the Xnito helmet liner? Thank you. -Jack

Hi Jack and Happy 4th! Yeah, I visit Buffalo quite a bit. Have Fam out there. Only in the Summer though lol. Wallke has contacted me about the step through and are sending me one as we speak to review it. I don’t believe it will have mounting points for a front basket. The bars that come with it will be U shaped. I’d probably recommend swapping those bars for a tall set of BMX bars. The cross member on the BMX bars would allow for any aftermarket basket type thing to be rigged. You’ve got my wheels turning. I’m wondering if you could keep the stock bars and use a front rack like one from a trail motorcycle like the Tw200. There’d be drilling and tapping involved. Hmm. As for the X-nito, it’s become my favorite helmet by far. Going to be doing an update on that here soon. Mine didn’t come with a liner as they weren’t available for the mediums yet but I’ll be getting one by winter. I loved the liner in my Giro so I’d be willing to bet the X-nito liner will be as good or better. Cheers!

If you get the rear rack for the H6 it’s huge btw. Might not even need another rack up front. I’d probably consider more of a bag type thing for the bars.

I forgot to address your brake question. I have close to 1500 miles on my H6 and haven’t noticed much wear or any change in their performance at all. I got a message from Wallke yesterday about the new step through. The latest version will have 4 piston hydrolic brakes! And a larger 200mm rotor. That’s nuts! My other Wallke bikes stop great with the 2piston 180 mil setup. Pretty cool. They said the new step through version ships here on the 17th so make sure you get that one. Mine will be here this weekend. Cheers!

@@TheE-LightenedArtist THANK YOU. Wallke has $300 off code (PRIMEDAY) good until 7/13 so I'll order one by then. Do you use Slime or some thing similar. I plan on using the Tannus Armour but I want to use the bike on longer trips (Erie Canal) and have less worry. Glad I don't have to deal with goatheads/caltrops.
@TheE-LightenedArtist

I’m running this stuff called “Flat Attack tire sealant”. Basically slime. It’s what my bike shop recommended. Also they sell tubes that are beefier with sealant already installed. These larger tubes for the 4’ bikes (you’ll want 20x3” tubes with Tannus) are kinda fickle. Especially when new. After the first inflation they might loose pressure after a few rides as they “stretch out”. That’s normal. You can buy tubes with the tannus as a set also. Looks like my step through H6 is being delivered today! My wife suggested I go live on RU-vid for the unboxing lol. Never done that before….
