When the cop came back from talking to his supervisor with no reason to stopping you guy, and all he had was that the laws are going to change in the future, That was funny. He was like I better find something to save the day, LOL... Are you kidding me, one bike with out pedals out of 18.
Yeah that guy was messed up… he passed us like a mad man on the opposite side of traffic and he stopped us on the road putting all of us in a dangerous ⛔️ situation… we could’ve gotten hit from behind if someone wasn’t paying attention… hope situations like this don’t happen to anyone else because the police officer obviously had nothing on us… You can use whatever part you want on e-bike news 🙌💪💯
Awesome ride Mr E and crew. I'm sitting at home with a flat on my X-Class. Took my back tire off yesterday while waiting on delivery, but it was only the new tubes delivered. Shinko 244's will be here tomorrow. Hopefully flats will be a little less frequent after the install. I didn't see anyone get any flats on your ride. Awesome! You captured that ride beautifully. From the scenic views to the music and everything. Also great choice in beer with the Blue Moon!

Mr E love the video and glad you enjoyed the ride our area. It's a fantastic place to e-bike on a nice day. However I will take the law makers have set the legal/illegal limits. 750w and pedals and you're considered the same as a bike pretty much (see Class 1, 2, & 3 max speed limits). However in MD (which follows US Federal guidelines) if you're over 750w that's a moped or e-motorcycle. Such vehicles are considered 'motorized vehicles' and are generally not permitted on the paths or even the rail trails. IMHO I think the issue comes from companies that sell the high power 'off road' bikes and tells the customer's they are 'legal' becauise they have a 'class 1 or class 2' mode - even though the motors are rated higher than the law specified. I just wish they would put a VIN on such machines so I could legally register it as a moped, it would make life so much easier for all of us.
Hey 👋 thanks for taking the time.. your area left me in awe… I’d definitely love to come back ASAP… I understand what you are saying… 🙌🫶 IMO despite the laws that are in place I believe the responsibility falls in the operator… Me personally I can reach speeds of up to 39 mph on my road bike which does not have a motor but despite the fact that I can doesn’t mean that I would even attempt to go that fast on a bike trail occupied by families who walk on it… Peoples safety are the priority and I thought it was displayed in the video… everyone we past greeted us with smiles waves and thumbs up…
@@mr.e_from_nyc IMHO you and your crew are welcome back anytime. I think the laws are screwy because a 140lb person on a 750w bike is very different from a 300lb person on a 750w bike. I'd prefer they just post speed limits and don't deal with motor power. Next time I hope to see Shredy and BigTeedo on the ride. But you picked a great day to ride Columbia, I was out at the lakes with my e-Bike earlier that day and it was glorious.

The Park Ranger did a very dangerous move speeding against traffic and impeding traffic causing a dangerous blockade. He needs to be reviewed for his actions. The Park Ranger broke more rules than all you guys did. You guys were just riding your ebikes safely and enjoying life and adventure.
Dude looks like you guys are having fun out there!, if you are on common land there are no laws - per se that you would be breaking as long as your actions are not endangering another man, as long as you are yielding to the pedestrian you are good to go. As for the cop he is only enforcing man made rules (not law) he actually has zero jurisdiction over another man when trying to enforce legal rules not concerning harm done to another man. Problem - the cop doesn't know where his jurisdictional boundary lies and in actual fact he doesn't even know the legal rules he is supposedly enforcing! We would have a lot less problems with Karens and people in positions of power if more people knew their Natural Rights and understood Natural law rather than blindly following legal code. Cheers

I mean damn nobody is speeding and its a huge park, the safest place for all kinds of bikes. The streets are dangerous most times so if ya want peace the parks are great

Look it at from someone else perspective. I cant go on the bike path with my children due to Ebikes flying on the path. They are moving at the pace of a car and dangerous. So suck DB! The laws are coming out to ban E anything on just about anything excluging the street. Eat was you sow. My apologies on the misspelling of sow,so or whatever it is spelled.
