A subscriber asked if I recommend he buy this bike. So, I took a ride and contemplated. This video is the result. Go for a ride to work with me while I discuss some merits and quirks this bike has. I've racked up almost 500 miles on this thing making a few mods along the way. Still have a few upgrades to go and there's lots more I haven't touched on so stay tuned!

Im probably getting it. Between this and the vitilan i7 Pro, 1,550$ vs the Walkee H6 2,050$. 8 mph more and double the battery. Only think i dont like is its 90 pounds and the Vitilan is lighter and has the Air pressure hydraulic forks.
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
yeah. When riding it carries its weight very well but folding it up and sticking it in the back of an suv is almost a 2 person job. a little awkward by yourself but doable. That i7 looks great. 16ah is really good. i really like the wheels too.

@@TheE-LightenedArtist A dude said he had ordered this bike and they sent him one with a bent frame it touched the tire in first gear, with paint damage and body damage. He got a refund but he had to pay shipping to send it back to them. Im kinda gun shy after hearing that story and i wish i didnt hear that. Im thinking of getting the Samebike m200. 1,800$, 78 pounds, 30 Ah Dual Battery 750 watt with 1,300 output Its got 90 NM torque compared to 80 NM On H6 and Vitilan I7 Pro. Only bad thing is the colors are only blavk or white & frame kinda regular style and it only has a front fork suspension. Its clocking at 33 mph throttle only and 37 mph with pedal assist. I am very interested in the H6 cause the suspension and the color and the frame looks dope plus the payload for the back is 130 lbs and the rack that comes on the samebike only payload is 55 lbs.

@@CONSCIOUS_TALK_ENT. I felt that way too. That's why I got my first bike from a local shop. Had a bunch of Amazon points racked up so I pulled the trigger on this one. I was still nervous but I really dig it so far.

Dude you have the old style of youtube channel where there's some actual personality and you just do what you feel like exactly the way you want Just ordered a Wallke h6. A little worried that the annioki A8 has a larger battery, but this seems like a solid and reliable bike. I'm sure the rabbit hole will open up and I'll be on a motorcycle next year hah

Yayuh! All about havin a good time! Honestly I’ve never wished for more battery on the H6. It’s got plenty. Things a tank! The electric motorcycles that’ve been coming out are are lookin pretty good.
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
I just looked at that A8. Impressive. Not being able to adjust the bars would bum me out. 7 speeds means that thing ghost pedals quick. Twist throttles limit grip options. Peak wattage is the same as the H6. Speed is the same. No brand name on the cells. Your stuck with the seat post but the seat looks cool. No such thing as a perfect bike. They’re both rad. The more customizable bike with Samsung cells is the winner in my book. H6 all day.

@@TheE-LightenedArtist Nice-- appreciate these points, and so will future viewers. Ghost pedaling on the H6 an issue? Just a larger front sprocket to resolve that right?
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
It’s just the dynamics of all e-bikes. The motors simply out perform the gearing. This is so it’s possible to peddle the bike without power. It’s hard, but possible. Upgrading the sprockets is more of a “hot rod mod” . Yes I’ll be eliminating some ghost pedal at high speed and conserving battery (minimally) and going slightly faster. But I’m sacrificing the ability to pedal without power without really having to work at it. It’s a trade off. Sort of like doing aftermarket intake and exhaust On a vehicle that performs perfectly well in it;s stock form. You do it because it’s fun to tinker with stuff and push it’s limits. Not necessarily because it’s smart lol.

Will this bike work for a heavier guy (270). That’s taking it with backpack and some fishing gear and maybe having to cut through some fields/woods to get to fishing spots or should I go with the x3 pro mountain bike style
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
Honestly after having both bikes, I’d go with the X3. The H6 suspension kinda sux off-road. The X3 is awesome and has all the torque and a big rack. The battery capacity is less than the H6 but more than adequate. The H6 is almost overkill battery wise. Check out my videos on the X3 if you get a chance. I’m filming my H6 1000 mile review and will be going over all that.

Man I cannot decide between the H6 and the X3 Pro without trying them. Please help if you could only have one daily driver with the following priorities. Number one is towing a 200lb trailer on street and gravel (not necessarily extreme offroad). I live in a second floor apartment without a garage, and would need to walk the bike up and down basement bulkhead steps daily be it folded or rolled up and down unfolded. Love the style of the X3, but love the distance of the H6. As you own both, which would you advise with my parameters and living scituation. Thanks! I subscribed.
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
Believe it or not The X3 is much more manageable. The H6 is dense and awkward. Lifting it while folded is difficult. With the large wheels, you’d be able to push the X3 up the stairs unfolded. Torque and power are basically the same. You’d be missing out on the extra 15ah the H6 provides but it’s proven to be overkill battery wise in my case. If I had to choose between these two bikes I’d go with the new X3 all day.
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
And you can quickly loosen the handle bars on the X3’s neck to flatten its profile for storage.

@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
Yeah big time. I toiled for weeks before pulling the trigger on the H6. That was before the new improved X3 came out. I love them both but the X3 is just a better all around bike. I’d put the H6 in more of an electric scooter class. Great around town and handles all weather but the new X3 is all that and more. I’d be interested to see your trailer set-up. Hook us up with a video when you get it all rigged! Cheers!

I see people upgrading the motor on bikes like this all the time. Do you plan on doing that at some point?
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
I've definitely toyed with the idea. Or maybe adding a motor to the front and splitting the batteries. It's already soooo heavy tho. The stock motor does a great job. Plenty of torque and power. The only thing that leaves me "wanting" is the cassette. A few less teeth back there would cool. My other bike only has a 500w motor so upgrading that one is definitely in the cards. Cheers!

I've spent alot of time in China, business and lived there for awhile..China is a great country, Americans get a cartoonish propaganda fueled overview of the country..Everything people think they know about the country is a lie and false..That being said, I still wouldn't put faith in mission statements, or how the company treats guys making videos of their products for sale..A few years back I saw many horror stories about the larger folder bike, which they have changed since then..More interested in the performance of the bike..If I want to know about the company, I'll go on Facebook find an owners group and see the various problems and if the company did the right thing..I've heard the battery performance is lack luster and maybe the controller over heats, hill performance, top speed, range, that is the kind of information I'm interested in..I am a big fan of the channel, we do alot of the same stuff..
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
Yeah I'm was unscripted so just kindle prattle on lol. I bought this bike and based my opinions on them as a consumer. After a few videos they sent me a bike to review later (X3Pro) which I accepted but I'm new to the review game. I'll definitely try to be more informative. All of their communications have been " how can we improve our products" So I haven't gotten any distrustful vibes at all or I'd quit promoting them and let ya'll know. That being said, I genuinely dig these bikes and am biased in that sense. As for the overheating issue, I bought the H6 around Thanksgiving so have only ridden it in cold weather so far. Since the controller is in the frame with the battery, I see how that could be a concern. Over the summer I'll find out and report any issues. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers!
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Год назад
Plus, I opened my first video on this bike referring people to links for professional reviewer channels as they'd already covered all the tech data much better than I could. So, my videos are more about my experience with the bikes. I had much fewer subscribers then and assumed folks would have already seen all that way before getting to me anyway. Mainly because those videos are why I bought it. Then, I have concerns that because of the many variables involved, tire pressure, rider weight, rider style, terrain, etc., my reporting on speed and range would be inaccurate according to someone else's experience. But I titled the video "Should you buy this bike" so you're right. More numbers should've been represented. Seeing now that people and companies ARE paying attention, I'm taking steps to up my game. Learning as I go of course. Thanks again for the feedback and support. These comments are my greatest teacher. Cheers!
