And for home video fans, the new logo (but not the fanfare) would debut on the film that was supposed to have it by director's request... "Speed".

And for someone in a different universe, they have probably had this fanfare since 1994.

Sadly The Pagemaster wasn't released by 20th Century Fox worldwide only in the US. Some other studio released it internationally instead of 20th Century Fox.

It would still be used for it's TV unit until 2008. Though, it would be reused for the short lived 24 and X Files continuations in the mid 2010s.

According to Miss Alison MacKenzie of the Family Ties, Cheers and Fletch fame who've joined Fox in the fall of 1975 after she introduced herself in the 1974-1975 year. She says, "Emmy winner and Oscar & Grammy nominee Bruce Broughton wrote an all new fanfare for Fox since Fall 1981 - the theme of the 21st Century" on both television and movies, including The Simpsons, Cops, True Lies and Miracle on 34th Street under the Disney/Buena Vista banner from September 14, 1985-present. He did an wonderful job on this assignment."

It was used on Krabat 2008 and the 2012 international re-release of Titanic and the 2023 international re-release of Titanic.
