Well here is the long awaited maiden of the E-Flite EC-1500 . In this maiden of the E-Flite EC-1500 I cover the flight, cg, lipo size and placement.

Good maiden FGFRC! Heads up on the channel limitation and reverse thrust. Spektrum Rx and Spektrum ESC you dont need a 7th channel to control reverse thrust. Avian ESC Foward Programming and set to aux 2 or aux3 if your using Safe so its not on safe channel. Activating Reverse Thrust and Safe at same time isnt good outcome :(. Go into Channel assign and assign the switch you want to activate on the corresponding aux in FP...

Yep, I was just about to say the same thing, the ar631 can listen to 20 channels , it’s limited to 6 ports but doesn’t mean it can’t listen to more…. My ar631 are almost all configured to 8ch incl safe select and reverse

Greg great maiden, I agree its better than the V1. I like the Nose paint and the minwax. It is a 3D cargo beast. I like the scale flying without Safe or AS3X with this plane because of the scale look and purpose of why this plane was built. Great Job Camer Lady.

Thanks, yeah I am thinking of putting a regular none gyroed receiver in her. Very stable so it is not needed.

nice flight ! great looking plane....question ? why does it seem that no one puts a drop of oil on the axles ?🤣 that nail down the chalk board sound makes me cringe every time LOL .....have a good one...

Well so many things are harmful to foam. I like to use (when i do) a silicone food grade lube.

Thanks for your maiden flight review. I am about to maiden my EC 1500. I really like the way you have it painted and especially the nose piece. I have flat water based Varathan Polyurethane to spray on mine. Can I ask a few questions? What did you have to cover or tape off to do yours? What did you paint the nose piece with? I really like how that looks. Keep the videos coming, good work!

Well the nose cone comes off so not need to cover or mask. I used that cheap craft paint Walmart sells in the craft section, black high gloss. Also I spray the entire plane after with a light coat of polyacrylic from minwax.That protects the paint like a good wax job does on cars. @@FatGuyFliesRC thank you for your prompt response. I have painted the nosecone of mine black like you did yours, I think it looks very good so mine now clearly has the fat guy RC modification. I limit a much more space constrain environment than you, we have moved from my house and garage to a two bedroom condo so I have made a way to store mine on the wall with the wings and tail surfaces off and made a carrier for the car to support all those so it can be transported safely as well. I have a little bit of touchup to do on the original paint and then will coat it with a clear satin spray paint. I am looking for an extra “Marines” decal for the bottom of one wing. I am also doing the modification of adding low bounce wheels to try and make it sound a little better on takeoff and landing rolls.
