Well flown in the Stockholm area, one of my favourite places to visit. I loved my (larger) Draco. I have noticed the finish foam on the smaller micro aircraft is a bit pitted but not so on the umx Conscendo which I have. I rarely purchase the micro/umx models but this one flies very well & ideal in smaller flying areas ( or when a country regulates the weight of a model) yes the larger 4s 450 batteries are hard to get here as well. Great presentation Lapeos
Please review this model again on the 4S battery. From other reviews I've watched I suspect that you'll have a more favorable review of the Micro Draco once you've flown it with the recommended/preferred 4S battery. A big plus for this Micro, here in the US, over the UMX offerings is that you're getting a bigger model that still doesn't require registration and flying with a Remote ID module in non-FRIA airspace.
I don't know about not having flaps. I suppose it comes down of how skilled of handling airplanes with higher or speedier landing speed and how long the landing strip is.
Flaps are always nice but on really light planes not really needed for them to fly slow. My Trekker and Ranger for instance handles fantastic without flaps.
Had the FMS Ranger 850. Flew ok but motor mount is on soft foam and soon buckles. Front wheel assembly very weak and two of the 3.7g servos failed after a few flights.
@@geofkane2365 I guess you ask about the UMX Air Tractor. No built on the AT and it flies very sport just like most low wing planes. AT is very silent and very fun. Two things Draco does better: lights and grass ops.
Other reviews say it's not a good aircraft because of its scale detail is far too heavy. Three cell and even 4 cell it needs the power. Also it's fast to keep it in the air not at all the best park flyer even in my opinion.Seems a bit troublesome but it does look okay
I will do 4s hopefully soon and show and talk about my experience with more power. As a bush plane with 3s it does okay. Not as nimble as UMX planes and more comparable to other similar sized planes.
