first thing I'd do is drop in a 4S 5000mah. this would fly amazingly on one, and for a long time too.

I own a Brand New OPTERRA also. Still need to maiden it. Lol. NOT Quite sure how big the motor and Esc are in the plane. I found out the Hard way one time when I put a 4S Battery In a 3 setup with 30amp esc. LOL. I Will look into it tho

yeah it has a lot of nose weight as ballast so you can remove the weight and use 4000 to 6000 mah batteries with ease. its also very friendly flier. MY gen ace 4000 fit nice on the battery track and are not even up the nose of the plane.

Every time i launch it just dives into ground,got the cg about right,had it for four months now still not fl o wn it. Got the pnp version but fitted the 636 receiver just does,nt have safe mode.set up per manual

ray gearing . I always hand launch planes level as to not stall them out. When you launch it hold it above your head with the elevator hand. Throttle up. Hold it for a second. Now push it forward flat and level. Let the plane start to fly before pulling up. It will swoop to the ground a bit , pull up a very small amount. Once its about 60 ft from you it's flying for sure. Now you can pull the sticks hard. Its a easy flyer even without safe. Throwing planes upward is not how to hand launch it stalls the plane. Running does not help. Just a good flat level pitch and of coarse follow thru so the prop dont get you.
