Got that plane, love it! The stock scale prop is a major bottleneck in performance and efficiency however. Recommend a 12x8 2-blade prop, top speed will increase while lowering ESC and motor temps quite a bit, run time will also improve. This is on 4S. The stock ESC can handle it, though I personally switched to a Hobbywing Skywalker 60a ESC just in case.

I just ordered mine tonight!! Really looking forward to flying it! I have the FMS P-47 980mm that flies in the 100+ mph range and am a little nervous about flying it, but with the 1.2m SAFE mode available, I feel a lot better on starting warbirds. What receiver should I get with the FMS 980mm, so that the retracts and flaps will work? Would the 6 channel SAFE Spectrum work, or something else? I am not good enough to try without a SAFE mode type setup, yet.

I`ve got this plane, crashed it loads, fixed it loads and it still flies great and looks epic on slow passes.

Very cool plane.......im building the fms 1500 p-47 out of spare parts....i did hear chattering on the flaps....did u readjust ur flap percentage.....if u didn't i can help u with the remote setup

Can i use this receiver with another plane like FMS PA-18 without reprogramming?
