msj143 cool man bookmark this link for your online shopping. Once this plane becomes available again I’ll put it on our store. Right now only the pnp is available www.amazon.com/shop/pilotryanandcapt.mikerc
I really enjoy your videos. Great flying . I'm just getting into the hobby. And I have been watching all your videos . Thank you guys. These videos are very helpful for the new guys. Trying to make up their mind what choice to make in their first plane
I looked high & low for this thing !!!! Finally , I found a Hobby Town 60 miles away from me I never knew opened up a year ago. Yes ... they had one in stock ! I didn’t even open the box yet 😲
Going out to maiden mine now just watched both videos 2 time to give me some confidence lol I hate maiden flights lol thanks guys !! You rock see you Saturday !! For my free plane lol
Great video guys! I appreciate all the advice and opinion on the different modes and batteries and awesome flights, maneuvers and landings! Mine had a bad aileron servo and they're a new servos and out stock so bought a PNP plane and stole a servo out of it lol! I customer painted mine Gulf Racing orange and blue and waiting to maiden it, can't wait and think I'll increase the control surface throughs. Thumbs up! Best regards...Yaw!
Hi seen you on Pusa Studio... Great channel!! I always wanted to fly plans and I like the boats to... I have a place just down the road they Fly the plans you can alwas see them in the air I should go watch them sometime but scared I will want to get one...lol and I can't afford it. Great video. 👍😊👍
Nobody wants my opinion, but I maidened the Eflite Viper yesterday. For those wanting to get into EDF’s, but didn’t think they weren’t ready, (like me until last September) get the ArrowsRC Marlin first. ($160 + a receiver) I’ll probably catch hell from the “experts”, but the entire time the Viper was in the air I kept thinking, “This reminds me of the Marlin, only faster.” If you can fly and land the Marlin, you’re ready for the Viper.
We enjoyed it more with high rate in safe, low rates in safe we loose the elevator authority. In AS3X mode its up to the pilot on the rates. Its a sweetheart design.
@@PilotRyanMedia thats correct when in safe , high rate gives you more control and more realistic flight when not in safe and lower rates. great plane, lotsa fun
GOOD SHIT GENTS Glad the addendum help Ryan if you get hit me up on Facebook I need your advice on a couple things and I was what I had a couple of things to run by you and Captain Mike Thanks Brother
Great video guys. I was wondering what the minimum number of channels are required to have all the capable safety modes on separate channels. So I guess what I’m asking is if the AS3X is on one channel and the SAFE on another, what’s the min. amount of channels. Or is the AS3X always on? Thanks.
Wow a EDF with AS3x too cool … I am so glad to see it hit the market . The flight time on the battery is terrific too . Great demo !!!!!!! Stickemmonkeypants
Well, Mr. Ramsey, you and I we're recently engaged in a conversation about the Avanti and the L-39. Now that you have had a chance to dig into the HH Viper, what do you think ? Saw this jet at the Expo on Saturday and wondered about it
my first experience with the safe tech by eflite was ok but i didnt like it when flying high speed. it causes my plane to shake coz the safe was to slow. does this have the same problem?
After a few months of not flying I was finally able to maiden mine. My landing looked a lot like Mike’s. Bent that dang front gear. Guess that’s what I get landing on my payment instead of my soft football field fake grass. I’m using a 3300 and it feels heavy. How in the world you get a 5000 in it?
Yeah, one size fits all right? 😳😂I will also note that I maiden the e-flight f-16 and I liked it better. Not so sure it didn’t fly better either. Were those motion batteries in the viper? I’m thinking of ordering some RC jetwerx batteries and might try one of their smaller 6s ones in it.
If you purchase the AS3X separately, it’s programmed to just be a gyro only? Since I only have the new DX6 I don’t think I could access the “safe” part with out giving up flaps or landing gear. I’m thinking the gyro itself would be nice for the F86. I almost went with this model at first. Looks amazing. May have to grab one next year.
safe technology is an absolute game changer. Wont be surprised if more companies make their own.theres almost no reason to not get a safe receiver if just casual flying
Hey Mike, I’m doing everything the manual says for the safe programming assignment of the switch but it doesn’t work. Safe just stays on. Safe bind was successful, I don’t really need it just thought it might be fun to try it and also the recovery mode if needed. Any ideas?
First I will say this is my 3rd Jet. 1 UMX Habu 2nd Hobbypeople EF 16. And they both still fly! Our runway is comprised mostly of centipede grass so I have been hesitant to fly with these heavier batteries. Might you have any input as to whether the stock gear can take this sort of "punishment" carrying the extra weight. Obviously I am expecting good to greased landings on my part LOL. Any word on softer tires slightly bigger? Dave Brown?
